Riding in Europe Alps in summer

This becomes more and more tricky, we ar on Global warming now.

You can find near to black and muddy slopes (toxic contaminations!) up to slopes on fresh all-white powdersnow.

seek for resort informations:

- Tignes, la Grand Motte (FRA)

- Les 2 Alpes (FRA)

- Val d'Isère (FRA)

- Ponte di Legno / Passo Tonale - Adamello Ski (actual they are on 550cm snow) (ITA)

- Passo Stelvio Valtellina (starts June 1.) (ITA)

- Matterhorn ski paradise / Zermatt or Cervinia (SUI/ITA)

- Saas Fee (starts mid of July) (SUI)

- Hintertux (AUT)

Please avoid black and muddy slopes of that kind of ugly silt. Containing many small stones, they looks realy ugly and are to slow for riding.

The higher You go, the more white on Glaciers will be.

Cervina is the highest one and on top of the Piccolo Cervino, more or less 3600mt, you will always have jennuary snow. quite expensive, best to stay in cervinia or valtournance than in zermatt.

Soleden has the steepest slopes

saas fee is a good option

des alpes has great post ski activities

passo del tonale will be probably closed on summer, only one slope but long and nice

stelvio opens at 7 in the morning, trafoi as a good option for sleeping, closer than bormio, lower than sleeping at passo dello stelvio 2700mt or livrio 3200mt
