daplumb
Hi there, I have been riding for about 15 years, however am new to alpine boards. After a less than favourable first ride, I wanted to see if anyone knows anybody near the GTA (Toronto area), that may be able to provide a lesson or two. many thanks. Guest
What were you having difficulty with, specifically? I think most of the members here wouldn't charge anything for a lesson (though buying them a beer is advisable). If you can't find anyone to ride with, see if you can post a video of yourself. The way I started was to watch a TON of videos, read as many posts on here as I could about technique, and read all the articles posted on the bomber website (http://bomberonline.com/resources/Techarticles/tech_articles.html) - Actually, I just went back and re-read all those articles - I seem to pick up something new every time. Chris Houghton
My personal recommendation would be to talk to the ski school guys at Mount St Louis and ask for a lesson from Imo (pronounced Eemo, hope I spelled it right). No idea about Blue or the others.

That is excellent advice I will give them a read for sure. Thank for suggesting that.
