Mostly about skiing, but the best quote is:

It always gets down to control or no control....My experience has been the skidding skiers are going slower than the riders who are bombing down the hill to get back on the lift to get back to the terrain park. The skiers may collide more the riders are going to have a more impressive crash when they do crash.
