KingCrimson Posted October 2, 2009 Report Share Posted October 2, 2009 How did you record these? Guitar-> Amp -> Board -> Puter? Don't mean to be over critical but the mixing is way off. You're barely there (knowing you, I'd figure you'd be more adamant about that!) and there's no bass to speak of. To me, it just sounds like an old recording, but if that is what you're going for, my apology. Sounds like some nice gear in there though..The vocals are phenomenal, and there are some sweet tones coming off the git. What's the guitarist playing? Sounds like an SG most of the time but when it gets thicker sounding it reminds me of a Lester, but it's not sonic sounding enough to be PAFs... Burstbuckers?? Need to see how good my snob-ears are here... One last thing..GET ON KCRW. THEY LOVE STUFF LIKE THIS AND YOU GET FREE STUDIO TIME. The problem with the bass was how we didnt have an amp for it - we plugged it directly into the mixer.
