Just wondering if it would be possible to hold Permanent SBX events at different resorts and run it on the same blue print as Nascar every year there by creating a yearly tour. ANY THOUGHTS?

Boring......

They already ruined GS by adding PGS, so standard SBX courses would be the icing on the cake to ruin snowboard racing forever.

Now, I would favor a standard Banked SL course, but not SBX. Totally different sports.

They kind of already do to some extent. Many of the World Cups are at the same ski areas every year and some features that are built are the same every year. Like at Placid there is an S-turn section that is there every year and is kind a trade mark of Placid. But Placid will not be hosting the event this year.

With that said I agree with Kent. This would limit the progression of the sport. As the level of riding gets better the courses need to change in order to keep things either safe or challenging. Snow conditions also change from year to year. Depending on the speed of the snow course designers need to have flexability in thier design. And the point of SBX is to challenge the rider through a varity of features, keeping the same courses from year to year would not do this.
