HT question

I'v egot an Onkyo 5.1 receiver that works great but I noticed my cable box plays at a lower vol level than my dvd player that has sound running on a toslink cable. I have a toslink output on my cable box and I tried outputting sound on it and the volume leve is the same as my movies. Question is I only have one toslink/optical input on my receiver. Is there an adapter that allows you to have two optical connections plugged in simultaneously(obviously not running simultaneously but just for convenience factor.)? Like a "Y" splitter.

I do have a coaxial digital input I could also use. That may be the best choice.
