  1. Interesting: Jacques (Rilliet) said that for at least a decade, and he was called either a fool, a suicidal man, or wrong...( forum archives...)

    Hi Nils !

nice to read all this reviews about lateral flex...

See you next decade when almost freecarver will using wide board

Moi ce que je voudrais, c'est le logo au laser sur tes embases :1luvu:

  2. Istvan, it's easy to understand (U doesn't see JBT last WE ? ;) )

    conseils_en.png

For example, you want tune your board at 90° :

    1. tune base edge at 1°

    2. tune sidewall with roto-finish 200 at 88° (10 or 15 forth and back)

    3. then same thing with roto-finish 400 at 89° (6x max) --> the result angle is 90° with 1° for the base

With this technic, no need to use each time the file, but just 2 diamond at different angle :biggthump

  3. The softer opaque E rings are considerably softer then the earlier translucent ones (probably better to ask Fin but my guess is 33% - 40% softer). The suspension kit itself is extremely soft as well.

    Oke, thx for your reply.

If Fin can help us with stiffness of this new e-rings :biggthump (I saw that kit supsension is 40A durometer)

  4. I am running the newer soft yellow (opaque) E rings with the TD 2 suspension kits under them. I also have the first generation translucent yellow E rings but I have not had a chance to compare them yet. The first generation rings seem considerably stiffer then the new ones and I havent ridden the older ones since last year.

p.s.-The newer softer opaque E rings and the Suspension kits are all developments to allow a little more dampening/suspension between the board and the base plate. This development was most likely geared to racers to allow some give and to prevent the transmission of harsh feedback through the bindings to the rider.

Hi Crave2Carve, do you know the difference stiffness (in shore) between yellow e-rings & newest opaque super-soft ?

    Thx

  5. That's totally f&cking punk rock. A 9-page thread filled with pictures, graphs, and spreadsheets. I don't read French, but I think I can work out the basics of what's going on.

Yeaaahhh...Arnaud is the french "Mac Gyver" :biggthump

Head Stratos were very good and also you can increase performance & confort with ACSS --> Arnaud Cool Spring System (you can buy it)

I'll tried it last winter, and it's perfect you know.

Oke, post is in french but you've some crazy "tuning" pics ;)
