  1. Selling a great condition Ride Tempest 166 board with a matching length Burton board-bag.   Never been ground our tuned, will come freshly-waxed.  I doubt this board needs a presentation if you've opened my add.  I also own a longer Timeless and i'd be hard pressed to tell these boards apart besides the Timeless being a bit longer.  These were and still are (imho) among the stiffest "soft" boards out there, it like to go fast and it is the best "soft" carving board I had a chance to ride, ever.  Selling it because I have two very similar board out of which the Timeless is a bit more suited to my height/weight.

Price: 180$US + actual shipping (US and CAN only)

Just picked up this really nice kit locally, but unfortunately boots have ended up being a tad too small for me (same as Blax boots in same size a gooood while go) - so I'm listing the whole kit as it's nicely color-matched and the board isn't exactly what I was looking for anyways. As such:

Board: Oxygen Proton 164 GS - 13m SCR, great condition, freshly waxed, an easy 3/4" of camber left.

Bindings: Oxygen standard bails - nothing to say here - one of the nicest "discontinued" bindings i've seen to date.

Boots: Oxygen Proton, size 27.5, standard liner, will come with no insoles. Do show some signs of usage, nothing worth of mentioning though - everything works and everything is solid. Like I've said, they are about 1 full size too small for me as well as a tad stiffer than what I'm looking for. I'd say they are about equivalent to Deeluxe's 26.5, but don't take my word for it - everybody's feet are different and mines are very peculiar beasts...:angryfire

250$US + actual shipping for the kit - otherwise best offer for boots or boots+bindings. If bought as a kit - will ship in 2 separate boxes to save on shipping. Feel free to ask any questions. PP gift or EMT as the payment method.

  3. Putting together a simple hard boots setup to use for snowkiting, looks like I found a board locally, but I still need some boots and bindings.

Boots: 225-s or Lemans will be good, but ideally I'd like to get a pair of Suzuka-s with the stock (non-moldable) liner in size 27 - from my past experience it's the only combination that works for me. No BTS required.

Bindings: OS2 with soft rubbers would be nice, but I'll settle for something less fancy - like Heads (with all adjustment shims included) or OS1-s (for the sake of adjustment) as well.

Let me know if you have anything.

  4. Up for grabs: Head Stealth DNA standard bindings. Come in the original box, with all the accessories (wedges, screws, etc.) and an extra leash.

9/10 condition, nothing really to speak off. Used very little, mostly by my... ex-g/f... :smashfrea

    Price: SOLD!!!!!

Payment by Paypal (+4%); Money Order, Email transfer or Direct deposit for Canadians (i'm at TD).

Locals are welcome to pick it up.

Feel free to ask any questions, and request more info.

  5. Custom race stock Factory Prime 173:

In really nice condition, top sheet is 6/10 (which is typical for Burtons, top sheets aren't most durable), base is 8/10 with only a few scratches...

This board is really stiff, I'd say it was made for somebody ~180-220lbs.... It's stiff and fast. With some mad pop and amazing edge hold. Really stable. I was blown away when i've got it... 195mm waist, but I don't know any other specs since the topsheet is blank...

  6. INTEC pins: they come quite sharp from the factory, so make sure to break the sharp edges with a file or (better) a stone.

Lubrication of receivers: BB works ok, but after few clip-ins it's gone... However, I found that cutting/tapping/drilling wax works way better and last a good session... besides, colder it is, longer it lasts... I've got a few sticks from my workplace laying around - really nice stuff...

And i switch receivers after every couple of sessions to keep the wear even...

  7. if we do go there i'm definitely not taking my Oxygen Proton, but will take my soft setup as backup.

I don't know about Protons... but i definitely regretted not bringing my old KR72 (grand-pa of Protons) - really soft and turny... although i'm not sure how it handles moguls - I don't ride em... neva!!!!! :angryfire:barf: !!!

  8. Not to bitch but... told u it was the worst week to go !

And u have to be there early to avoid all the two plankers..

Better luck next time, if you ever decide to go back !

I knew it will be crowded, but i still compromised with my g/f... and guess who paid? :angryfire It's rather unlikely that i'll go back... Mountain is quite steep and runs are narrow... Not exactly what I can call a carver's dream... Although the view is magnificent... worth going back... someday... with a soft carving or pure freeride deck... NEVER DURING WEEKENDS/HOLIDAYS/VACATIONS!!!!!!!!!! :angryfire

  9. What a misery!!!! I don't want to bitch, but that was the worst experience i had so far... We've arrived by noon, parking lot was PACKED!!!!! We still decided to go for it only to realize that all runs, I MEAN ABSOLUTELY all runs were MOGULED by m@@$##@$%A two-plankers... :barf: No more, never!!!!

    700km worth of gaz + 2 half-day tickets... tossed in a ****-hole...
