  2. Hi guys,

tnx on the reply, now I know why I can`t find any info on the board this size. Even on the sticker from the board says that 178 is the biggest!

    Here are the specs:

lenght 178, contact lenght 1595, nose 243, waist 190, tail 238, nose lenght 140, tail length 40, nose radius 263,

compare sidecut 12500, medium stance 490, set back 20, insert 12

The board is brand new. I bought it in a store for 320$, but it also had a new CONSHOX plate. I bought the board for my 190cm tall son.

    Tnx again,

    bibo

  3. is this b/c they are going so fast?

    Hi Barry,

I am sure this is not b/c they are going so fast

    Go to www.carvingmachine.com and

on first site go to Road of Carving then on Setting and Enter,

use google to translate to english,

there you can read they use completely strange settins, like

Binding angle Both feet together 54 degree

Binding cant Both feet together 6 degree

Binding lift quantity Both feet together it is not

Boots leaning forward angle Both feet together fixing (both feet together without leaning forward with 5 to lock, upright

    state)

text with red letter are : both feet it locks together with 5. This is because it stands vertically on the board. Also these

both feet as for the person who does the setting which is not leaning forward angle are few, probably will be.

In addition, these both feet together without leaning forward angle a state where you say with respect to this setting, is

    the very important part.

on picture you can see what they call "natural position"

  5. Hi ar(arvangel !

    You`re not bothering at all.

My opinion is that there should be or better there is no big difference in the percentage of alpine riders between Croatia and the States. There is a lot of boarders here, but carvers are rare. Usualy we get our equipment in Austria (100 miles from my home town Zagreb), the boards are F2, Blast, Nidecker, Volkl. U can buy F2, Nidecker and Phiokka bindings. Shoes are Deeluxe and UPZ. There are price cuts here at the end of the season, specialy for boards ( the last one I bougt was a new model of F2 Speedster RS board, that costed me 320Euro...Just to let U know the price at the start of the season was somwhere about 650Euro, and that is more than 50% discount).

And yes, I can watch snowboards races on the satelite. That should be everything.

And here is a link for the mountain in my town...

  6. hi again

i have a skiing resort 2km from the place where i live but i don`t go boarding there because it`s always full of people. usually i go to Austria (Nassfeld, Schladming, Obertauren) or Italy (Folgaria, Livigno, San Pellegrino,Cortina). These places are aproximatly 100-150 miles away from my home.

    go visit

    www.skiwelt.at

    www.rauris.net (small resort)

www.maria-alm.info (small resort without many people)

www.carving-ski.de (here u can find a list of good links for carving-although it`s a site for ski carving but its the same as snowboard carving)

    kind regards, bibo
