Solid binding.  I'm three seasons into a pair of these and find they are excellent for carving and all mountain riding.  The toe straps are prone to damage from drag but are inexpensive to replace.  The thru-bolts that attach the metal heel cup to the base are prone to loosening.  Tighten frequently or use loctite.

  2. Similar to Hollywood, I have ridden his Contra and now have ~10 days one of my own.  Aside from some minor adjustments to timing and weighting, I found the shape to provide an easy, predictable, and forgiving ride that doesn't mind being ridden hard.  I ride without any detuning, but also run an 87 side and 1 degree base edge.

  3. Gnarly dude!

     

    One time I got all twisted up while loading at 7-Bros because the group in front of us had a similar issue.  When I got ready to load the chair, the upper bracket hit me in the head and cut my scalp.  This one guy sees the blood running down my face and smeared over my eye and says, "You look like an Indian" and laughed.  I was like, real funny bro, but I think you mean Native American!
