  1. Anybody have 5 hole variplates gathering dust in a closet? I gave mine away long ago, but have an itch to take out a couple of the oldies from the wall this winter. Couple of years ago there were a bunch on fleabay for $10-15, now nada. If I can't find any cheap, I'll have to jerryrig something :smashfrea

  2. This was my 2nd snowboard. I swiss cheesed the retention plates on my original 166 Gyrator constantly messing with stance angle/width on my brokeback Sims freestyle bindings. Thank you K2 warranty dept.! :biggthump

This board was a huge 4cm step up. I used to rip it up in my Salomon SX91 and these Emery Speedys that you could adjust for width & angle :1luvu: e Though I was unaware of the optimal 30* front / 40* back stance shown here :p

  3. Before you sell/give them away, you should go see an experienced bootfitter. You would be best served by having your feet properly aligned / supported by some custom insoles / orthotics. Having the thermofit done by someone that knows what they're doing is the way to go if you're new to this. I have D width, size 12.5-13 feet & ride in 27 shell Raichles with custom footbeds & thermofits, PERFECT!! Just my $.02 :)

  4. Check out the 157 Factory Prime eastcoasticerider is selling.

My wife has one, I'll take it out once in a great while & am amazed at how fun it is. Even though at 240lbs :o I'm way too big for it. She's 130, so if you're less than about 190, it's a great board & a steal at $75. :biggthump

  5. Would really like to help with the evaluation :D , but of course have to work Saturdays :angryfire . No need to worry though, everything'll ride great with all the snow they have! Just make sure you bring something wider, like the BX, I'm sure you'll get some deep stuff too. Views of the Lake are  on bluebird days. Have fun :biggthump

  6. 157ish would be your best bet. The 1st year, brown tire tread graphic was pretty stiff. I used to ride it for fun on our pimples here, when I was 190lbs, I also had 167,173. 157 was really too small for me but could really crank some crazy little turns with it. I'd think at your weight 160, it would be versitile at small/medium resorts. Sidecut was about 9.5, waist 19.

Later years had different flexes, narrower waists, 18cm, same sidecut. I can't remember which graphic was which flex/waist. The approximate cronology: gray, blue metallic, red, yellow, black? I'm lost after that. But I'm sure someone else here'll know.

    Hope this helps some. :)
