I have two seasons on this set up, which is why I am selling it. I don't ride it and I would rather give it up to someone that will...
I live in Michigan and got out twice last season, and not at all in 2006-2007.
Not even certain what to ask so I am accepting reasonable offers.
Shoot me an email:
I will get pics up soon.
Stratos Pros are size 27
And the board is a 162.

Orange and Clear. The orange has never been used and the clear has been used 2-3 times.
Email me with an offer

Well, saying that there are days when one wouldn't want to break out a hardboot setup in Steamboat is a whole nother story. I took it as "there isn't good carving opportunities" here and that's, well, not true.
Despite what their marketing department would like us to believe, it doesn't always snow in steamboat springs. There is some awesome grooming/terrain there for full speed, face-smearing carving.
I've been there once and it dumped 36" of wonderfulness in 5 days!
-
I can agree with his comments. The one time I was there I barely rode my hard boot setup. I spent most of my time in the X-mas tree bowl going through waste deep powder. Trying crap I wouldn't normally try in MI.
I'd still keep a hardboot setup to slam gates with.

the USCSA Snowboarder Nationals are gonna be at SugarLoaf this year. I will be there from March 5 - 9/10
I will be riding an F2 Siblerpfiel and my buddy will be on a Burton Factory prime or an F2 speedster. Look for us!
-
That is excellent!
Makes me even happier that I ride an F2!
-
Do you think the demand is there!??! By demand I mean $$$$
-
Bill I was sick as **** all! I went to cannonsburg this weekend and did pretty well. I will see you this weekend at Crystal mtn!?
-
I qaulified last season. If I don't go to collegiate nationals in Maine then I will def consider this. I was in steamboat over X mas break..loved it there. :D
-
Streamlined would be nice, but the $$ was enough to sway me. Someday I will post the pics of my pject car and you would understand.
-
I searched...but I just wanted to post a cheaper option over the dainaise*
No I have not riden with it yet...but I have put it all on and I still have full range of motion.
I purchased oneil azonic mtn biking jacket.
160ish bucks
And the Burton Impact shorts...
66$ shipped
I will post pics of it on later. It barely fit under my GS suit...so maybe I will be getting a new one. As far as my pants n jacket...they fit snug but I could still get full movement.
My only complaint is that the plastic pieces on the O'neil are kinda big, but 220 compared to 400 is a big deal to me right now and I was willing to deal with that.

I use the above method and scrape off with a Da Kine Metal scraper. Works great for me. Have any of you tried a hot glue gun?!
-
How'd you end up with that username?
Australian buddies...
As for the race on the 17th I am not certain that I will be there in time for that. We are taking a bus from MI to CO...30 hours IIRC. I will keep my eyes peeled.
BTW I ride an f2 silberpfiel and orange HEAD's. Never had my carving board outside of MI. I am pumped for this trip!

I will be in Steamboat on Dec 18th. I am going with the MSU ski club and I am pretty sure I am the only hardbooter. Looking for someone to ride with. I am sure I will be doing some NASTAR so if anyone is around get in touch with me or if there are some guys that will be running NASTAR well shoot me a PM.

I re-learned on it after a 5 year carving board hiatus...absolutely loved it. I have been boarding for 11 years now tho. Makes me feel old....
-
im about 5'5 and weigh 105
How old are you? Throw on a few lbs if you're young enough!
-
Your weight? Height? I am 5'9" and 205lbs and thought the board was on the soft side for me. I could rail tight turns all day long but felt very limited. I think a Con shox would have would have greatly helped (considering my weight) but they are not easy to find. I wound up buying different boards to serve the purpose and sold the Silberpfeil.
As always, demo before you buy if possible.
P.S. - I was riding a 172
I am 5'10" 150 lbs...I ride a 162 and love it!
-
I absolutely love my silberfpiel. This will be my second season with it and I cannot imagine riding another board. I've ridden the F2 RS, the burton Factory Prime, and my old airwalk 157 something. This has been by far the best ride. Stiff enough, but soft enough...It's heavenly. ;)

Thanks for the adice guys.

Need help making a decision. Not a huge newbie, but just curious what you all think. Í've read the comparo's, but there is only 2 for the HEAD boots. I like the metal clips and power strap. Indy is cheaper. Any thoughts fellas?
-
Are you selling any or all of those boards?
-
I still have my 00 Burton Balance 148.5 for this duty. :)
2005 F2 Silberfeil, 2005 TD2 standards, and 2005 Head Stratos Pros

Sorry for not getting back to anyone yet. I still need to get to my mother's house to snap some photos. I've had a pretty hectic week, but tonight I should be able to get those pictures out and respond to emails in order I received them.
