  1. I'm looking for NEW Nitro Victoria 152. Model year doesn't matter, just as long as its new, or as good as new. I cant seem to find anywhere that has one. Every other womens board has some weird camber or rocker and "is designed for the rider looking to progress in the park". Does anyone make boards for chick that rip and know how carve and charge big lines?

  2. Right, but Bomber is growing and having a place to check on someone gives buyers and sellers a sense of comfort. There is a particular seller in the BST now who has had 2 less then desirable transactions this season. His feedback should reflect that to let future customers know how he transacts business.

Thats all I'm saying. Everyone usually leaves a comment on the thread they bought or sold something from, but it would be nice, especially if a new member comes by to have a specific spot for it. this way people don't have to go thru a bunch of threads. I know that most everyone is good about buying and selling, but its more of karma thing I guess. I also think it would discourage anyone that is just looking to sell their crap and really be a participant on the board. Not that I really see that as a problem here.

No biggie tho. Just a thought. I dont want this thread to turn into a shouting match. Like I said, have a spot like this on another message board I use, and I thought it was a cool idea. Here are some links that show how the other site laid it out.

  3. One of the other message boards I frequent has a section like this, where buyers and sellers can post feedback for each other and their transactions. If anyone else likes this idea, maybe the Mods could ad a new header to the classified section, or wherever you think would be best.

I have already purchased a few items from members here and I am super stoked about how easy, and friendly the transactions have been.

  4. Just a little update. I managed to score some boots for both my wife and myself, and we're gonna head up to Berkshire East next week. we're probably going to bring a few friends, and get them hooked too. I also found a board for myself. Still working on some bindings, and a board for my wife. At least we have the boots, and we can to BEast to do some riding, and can take our time finding the rest of the equipment.

BOL is a great board, and wonderfully helpful community. I'm glad we made it to ECES, even for only that one day, and got to meet and ride with so many fantastic people.

    Dig Trenches,

    B.

  5. I'm not sure if I'm the only one having this issue. It seems like my private messaging is disabled. I don't even see the option to turn it on or off in my settings. I am also having some email issues. I have sent a few but the members have not received them as well as having members mail me and not getting anything. Any ideas? Something to do with all the spambots lately?

  6. Hi I didn't get the email. Though I have received emails from other people on this thread. You can try emailing me at webbed(at)shaw.ca

These will fit mondo 23 to at least mondo 30.

    Dave

Yeah i think somethings up with email through the site. I havent been getting them either. sent one through regular email. thnx

  7. lidirtrider it is yours to buy, I think this is a little big for my wife.

    Jason

I'm sorta goin back n forth myself. Were both new to hardboots. She's 5'2/3" and about 110-115lbs. I think she was on a Donek Rev 157 at ECES. Just hate to get something she might not enjoy.

I also might be interested in those Burton Race plates if you still have them.

  8. I believe so, ask Wolf directly about flex, I am guessing it is fairly soft. He will give you the skinny.

Here are a few boards I have up for sale currently , I have one "Looker" at the Blue Coil, however everything is currently up for grabs. I have a few others to choose from that are not currently listed also.

Oops. Meant to ask OP about the nitro. Although you seem to be pretty knowledgeable. Thanks for links.

  9. In the next couple days I will be listing some gear I believe is ideal for new carvers, especially the lighter riders.

Watch for the posts in the for sale thread. Bryan

Do you think the Nitro 154 would be a decent pick for my wife, who is also a new hardbooter, but otherwise expert carver/snowboarder? She is 5'2/3" and about 110/115 pounds.

I was also looking at a 163 ultra prime listed here for myself. again new hardbooter, expert rider/carver. 5'10 160 pounds.

  10. From what I know these are actually on the stiffer side. I'm selling them for a friend so I can't give you first hand knowledge.

Do you what year or how old they are? Do you have any pics? Please PM me or email me thru the site.

  11. I have a pair of Mondo 24 Deeluxe Trak 700T boots for $275 shipped.

Regular heels with Thermo Flex liners, molded once. Diablo foot beds included.

    Randy

I am definitely interested. Do you think this would be a good boot for new hardbooter? I dont know alot about the different gear yet. My wife and I are both new to hardboots. These would be for her. She is super aggressive, and rips in soft boots, but can never seem to find a soft boot that is stiff enough. I would hate to stick her in something that would be too unforgiving tho.

  12. lidirtrider, Click the Pure Boarding link in my sig.

    I have boots from 25.5 through 30.5.

Boards rent out under our waiver so they do have to be used at Berkshire East.

Boards are the Pureboard Two, Bastard, and Black Diamond (available through Bomber)

    Boots are Raichle 324.

I hope you can stop up. Our terrain is perfect for learning alpine

If I can find boots in a 24.0 for her, were in!! Do you know of shops in the area (NY,CT,MA,VT,NH) that sell hard boots? I've been calling around and cant seem to locate anyone.

  13. My wife and I went to ECES at Stratton, and now we are hooked on hardboots. I am looking for 2 pairs of boots. 1 pair mondopoint size 24.0 for her and 28.0 for me. Any leads or links would be great. I've seen some stuff here and I also think that I might be able to go down to a 27.5 for myself, but I'm hesitant to buy a pair without trying them on. Does anyone know of any stores in the NY, NJ, CT area that carry hardboots? It would be nice to try some stuff on.
