  1. wow, it was such a sweet and welcoming session for me. I just moved out here from Toronto about 6months ago. It was totally unexpected to see so many talented carvers out there. you guys looked pretty badass ripping down those runs!!

It was great meeting the soca crew! hopefully i'll be able to meet up and ride with you guys more often.

    Cheers,

Jacky <- I was on a yellow factoryPrime

  2. Doc: Gate virgins are welcome at the Masters Race. I will make sure there is lots of time for practice runs and course inspection.

Others: Gabe Tung and I will be car-pooling from the King Sideroad exit of Hwy 400. There is a commuter lot there where you can leave your car. I have a 4Runner with a cargo box so there is room for 3 more. If anyone else wants to join us and share gas expense, let me know with an email.

We will be leaving at 6:45 sharp.

Hey Henry, would love to car pool with you guys, i will email you with the details.

    thanks.

  3. yeah i saw that.. i was just wondering if someone is selling the whole setup,

i guess i could always pick up the heels and wait for the kit to pop up!!

thanks for the heads up!! :lurk:

  4. hey Adam,

my stuffs should work with you, the boards might be too soft for you, but for a first timer it should do the job.

my buddy decided to be a goof, and try to snowjob me while i was down fixing my blinding. but instead of hitting with snow, he smashed into my back with his board.. don't know if i will be back in shape for the wkend, but i will post an update and let ya know.

but yeah you are welcome to try out my gears.

    cheers

  5. i think the overlap design makes them easier to get in and out of- just spread it wide open and you're set.

yeah, i got a new pair of UPZs and they hurt like hell the first day out. The liners they come with stock are super thin, which i think contributes to that initial pain. When i replaced the liners in my last pair the differernce was like night and day. Footbeds help too.

I always undo the buckles when im not riding, even after the boots are broken in. i find that doing this allows me to crank the buckles when i ride without feeling like my feet are going to fall off.

do you undo all the buckles? or just the middle 2 ? i have been doing that for the past 2 seasons on my Leemens. but everytime i redo the buckles i could never get the same fit. so hopefuly the pair of virus UPZ will fix that.
