  1. Finally got some time with the Full Tilt boots, I am uploading some pictures (details) so please advise me what to do to TUNE them up for snowboarding.

For any details, please ask me, I am more than willing to share all the info on these boots, just to make them for carving icon_wink.gif

So, here is the first batch, please help me!

  2. Guys!...and girls, also, I have noticed a couple of girl-carvers here ;)

I just wanted to express my excitement for just receiving the new boards from Bruce!

almost 3 moths after my order, and right near the first snow, look what I got:

Coiler Softy 168, custom made and special top-sheet (not my request, just Bruce was so kind to do it), that I have mounted with the Bomber Plates and 2013 Nidecker Act Carbon bindings will be the power-transmission, and

Coiler Nirvana 176, with TD3 bindings, that will be demo`ed around here, on the Romanian, Bulgarian, Ukrainian and Austrian slopes.

    yeah, baby!!!:eplus2:

  3. my little daughter`s race board arrived, so now I need a pair of hardboots, size 33 EURO / 1.5 US / 14 UK / 20.3 cm

Anyone can help me on this quest? ;)

second-hand ones would be perfect, since in 2 years the boots will change the owner again ;)

    many thanks!

    Lucian

    P.S. even a 35 EURO / 4 US / 20.8 cm would be okay ;)

  4. my Coiler Softy is in the making (pics from Bruce, thanks, Sir!)

these beauties will be responsible for board control ;)

Also, made myself a Fish Noboard for snow surfing....and hardly waiting to try the SiGi Soul board!!!

    Winter will be GREAT!

  5. Thanks for input! Whish you have used the Legends, for a more extended review :(

Seems I have to choose between Legend LTD which has adjustable highbacks but is an older version or ACT CARBON which is newer and improved but lacks the adjustability of the highbacks...

I really need to rotate to highbacks for my angles on the board (think 55/40), so I am still in fog :(

    Help!!!

  6. Not aiming at beating dead horses, but I really need you input:

I have ordered my custom Coiler softy (regards, Bruce!), so now I need the matching softboots bindings.

Reading on BOL and some other sources, seems Nidecker Carbon would be the way to go.

    But.... Which model?

    Carbon Act?

    Carbon Legend?

    Carbon Legend Limited?

What are the differences and what would you guys recommend for a nice carving?

I have found a pair and I don't want to make any mistake, before hauling them over Atlantic and half of Europe ;)

P.S. flames over the softboots expected ;)

    Thanks for input!

  7. Due to the lack of snow, allow for the time being only my static input (after all, I have to contribute somehow, not just a lurker) ;)

Just got my Bomber Power Plate system (TD3) with 4x4 inserts (for softboots). What a nice piece of engineering!

The box comes with everything you need to install....heck even the torx tool!

I have been pleasant surprised by the quality of details and finishing, as well as the clarity and simplicity of the installation instructions: all went like a breeze!

Overall install time (including taking pictures and just feeling the soft touch of the parts): less than 10 minutes.

Some pics attached, because a thread is worthless without pics!

Coming up, after the first snow, the dynamic review ;)

Until then, my Coiler Softy will be produced and shipped over the Ocean by Bruce, so I will be quite set for the mountain...

Thumbs up Fin for such a great product and thanks for taking time with a noob like me! I have initially ordered 0 degrees canted discs, but he advised me for 3 degrees both front&rear, and also to take 2 types of elastomer rings, to be able to check the best response for me, so I went with blue (medium hard) and red (hardest). Overall, I am soooo happy!

Best regards all the way from Romania, over the Ocean!

    Lucian
