    - length 181 cm

    - with 14.5 cm

    - approx. ridden 15 days (almost new)

    - edges are sharp; great condition

    - list price 2500 Euro (new) = 3400 USD

  2. Thanx for ur help, Chris.

    Specs are:

    - number 186/11/010 (that is 186 cm length, model year 2011, number 10)

    - front width 20.5cm (I figured you like inches more)

    - middle with 15cm

    - rear width 19cm

    - Evo III which is the latests version of titanal carbon - dampens like a titanal board but stings like a bee (not a dead fish like the double titanal boards)

Board was made for me. Wehether or not its custom made - I don't know. It works fine for me @170 lbs (77 kg).

  3. Hi guys - you can buy a Virus Stingray Evolution 3 (top notch) carbon titanal board. Board was build in November 2010 for me and I rode it 20 days max this season. I weigh 170 lbs.

Board is in excellent condition. I am selling because I bought an new Virus Black Death Slayer.

Board is in Switzerland but my folks are travelling back to the US early June (7th) - and could take the board into the US.

    Asking 1100 USD.

Please contact me for pixs / questions.

    Greetings

  4. Hello Community

I have ordered a Catek OS2 binding last week. I love this binding and ordered one 1.5 years ago. When ordering last time it took Catek ages to deliver and answer mails. I figured this would be a one-time experience.

It seems to happen again. Ordered early last week with payment via credit card and 2-3 day-delivery to the US. Order is on status processed, no information and no answer from Catek.

I need this binding and spare parts... What's up Catek?

    Thanx for any help.

    Ed

Edit: Received a mail from Catek tonight stating that they shipped the order. THat makes 7 days processing time. Will update when the binding arrives.

  5. You can buy a unique Virus Widowmaker from 2009 on EBay http://cgi.ebay.de/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=330393300985

The board is a special version of the Virus Outlaw (stiff) and was optimised for carving through mogules and soft snow. Mail me for further pictures or questions. Due to high shipping costs I did not translate the entire text from German to English. Board is currently in Switzerland.

Board gotta go because I bought many boards since November...

    Thanx & greetings

  6. Hi Ace

How do you like your Virus custom Skwal. I saw the board early November at Franks booth (not yours; he produced 2 of them). Anyway - how does it perform compared to Thias, MPride?

    Thanx for your experience.

Regarding the plate: Does your Skwal have a titanal plate in it?

    Ed

  7. I just saw Frank mouting plates under the first Evo 3 I saw mid November being very sure that te board was not ridden before a plate was put underneath. The plates are black. Dont know more. Maybe I can get a pic of those plates from Ben or Mc Fussel from the Frozen Backside. Ed

  8. Thanx for your help, Ursle

    Regarding the questions:

    - asking 1100 euros shipped in europe

    - the board is 192cm long and waist 14.2 (I know its stated differently on the Virus website but all Undertakers are 14.2)

    - stance width is 52 cm

    - board is stiffer than normal

    - Virus uses the Catek (lexan) plate on their new Evo 3 boards

    - this completely new EVO 3 (!!!) combines shock absorbing qualities of the titanal boards (Evo 1 and 2 series) while being as responsive and lively as normal (non titanal) boards

    - and I do sell as I am to light for this babe; what a shame

Shipping to the US is always a problem (expensive), so it would be great if you have someone inside Europe that can bring the board home to you (or that travels to Europe)....

Evo 3 kicks ass - believe it.

  9. Regarding to the board with of the Virus carving series note the following:

Black Death 173 cm 15.1 cm (used tobe 14.1) 157 cm

    Cyborg 181 cm 14.1 cm 168 cm

    Lighting 165 cm 17.1 cm 148 cm

    Nightmare 165 cm 15.1 cm 148 cm

    Psycho 175 cm 16.2 cm 159 cm

    Rocket 162 cm 17.5 cm 144 cm

    Storm 156 cm 17.1 cm 138 cm

    Tantalus 175 cm 17.1 cm 157 cm

    Terror 152 cm 17.1 cm 132 cm

    Thunder 157 cm 15.5 cm 140 cm

Undertaker 192 cm 15.2 (14.2 cm is corret) 178 cm

The bold marked boards have been added to the series at a later time (if I am not mistaken). You are probably correct regarding contest. I only race against myself and the narrow boards are fun; dont you think?

  10. Thanx

Translation in English added on Ebay as follows. No need to attend German classes:

Virus Undertaker Zylon Edition number 1 model year 2009 - like new!

You are bidding on the top board of the Virus carving series with an overall lenght of 1.91 metres (6.3 feet) and 14 cm width (only 36 inches). The effective edge is 1.78 metres (5.8 feet) and therefore longer than the overall length of most boards available. The result is a high speed weapon with amazing ice grip on even the iciest slopes. This board is for advanced riders and demands courage and stamina. Consider the board a speed board.

In addition to the outstanding length and shape this board is a Zylon version. Zylon is a synthetic spiderweb like fabric which has been used by Virus in their special edition boards for the past 2 years. Zylon creats a soft, shock absorbing effect and further adds ice grip.

The board is number 1 out of the 2009 series. I rode the board 5 days. I am selling this beauty as I switched to the very stiff Virus Evo series as soon as Virus released their newest toy.

The base of this board is perfect, the edges ultra-sharp; inserts are top. The board has no damages. Even the top deck looks like new (no wonder on a 5 day old board). This board is not ultra stiff and can be ridden by medium weight riders - I recommend 165 lbs - 195 as rider weight. The board is for sale without the binding pictured.

I am shipping worldwide. Customers outside Europe are asked to pick their shipping partner - I will charge only the shipping costs and am paying for packing myself. Customs is to be taken care of by the buyer. I will ship the boards within 2 days after the money has arrived. I cover the EBay charges.

This is a private auction. I am not a dealer and do not grand guarantees etc. I will treat you fair and ask you for the same. I am a fanatic boarder and sell boars here from time to time.

  11. Hi Bryan

    Thanx for your interest.

The binding is "home-made" by Oli (alias Snoweater on the German forum www.frozen-backside.de). The binding on my board is a first generation. Oli has taken his ideas further and now makes the "Powergrip". Check this link for pictures http://www.pistenschlitzer.de/forum/thread.php?threadid=1761&hilight=powergrip

My board is for sale without the binding. Should you have questions regarding my EBay description please contact me and I will be happy to translate or explain.

    Greetings

    Ed

  12. 5 days - honest.

Bought the board mid March 2008 from Frank. I am not sure but it might be the first titanal for a UT. My wife gave birth to our daughter Amy end of March so the season endet early for me.

In May we went to the Austrian carving masters event where Virus presented the Evo - a very stiff board. Number 1 and 2 where the Protos; I bought number 3 -:)
