I have 3 vouchers for midweek ticket for 40$ Just trying to give them away, they expire this season. I'll mail them to the first folks that want them. I put this here instead of the regional forum because I figured it might be seen quicker, what with the transition to new site

...ya'll got nothing to add about the Burton Step On?
Just my opinion but I love the Step On and have no problems with them. I actually like the point of attachment in the back because it gives more leverage over the toeside, similar to using a 3 strap binding. They have not release unexpectedly for me. I weigh 240 lbs.
However I think the limited release this year was a way to identify problems before the next season. It does appear there was extensive testing but please let us know if you hear from Burton.

$450. much lower and i'll keep it for unplanned trips!

Have you thought of adding a 3rd strap? For me that made a huge difference in softboot carving. And its pretty easy. I used rivets but it could be bolted on too. My boots are old and floppy but it doesn't matter because of that strap. Just an idea

Really nice carving as always! Very fun to watch

Cannon open till April 19th! Bretton Woods is still almost %100 percent open and I wonder if we will see riding into May. Be at one or the other every weekend till its done.
What a year. I could use this snow all the time.

So went today. They must have had some more last week because it is amazing right now. Ya not the steepest but such grippy fun snow. Looks good for a nice spring at both Bretton and Cannon

I really like that I can get high quality snowboards from custom builders who advertise on this site. Any yes I carve in softboots too. Bomber, Donek, Coiler...I ride all of their products in hard and soft. Think please! Imagine life without. Reality is more softboot carving interest is out there and it is a good thing.

What happened to that video that was up a few weeks ago of the guy carving on soft boots with power plates? I wonder if he took it down...I remember at least one not very supportive comment.

Well I went! how do you like them apples? The snow is as good as it gets due to our killer season. You can see Boston from the "peak". The runs are short and the 1 lift to the top is slow. But I had a great time. Most runs I had completely to myself.

Since the snow on the east coast is epic right now I figured why not try Blue Hills. $30 tickets! Anybody been? Just want to make some turns thats all. thanks!

I have a Coiler BXFR that was finished a month ago. It is a 170 and is really really fun. Easy to control, carves like a beast. Works great in all snow including powder. It is my all mountain soft boot board. If you are looking I recommend the BXFR. Bruce was really great to work with.

If you want a longer length I just bought the new Coiler softboot carver / BX. Built at 170. Sorry can't ride it till Friday so no review but looks awesome

Thank you! The new set up is great

Headed to the Tram...still snowing. About a foot so far. Should be a great weekend if you don't mind dodging the vacationing kids

There are streaks over the name "Coiler" in the pic from camera flash, not damage
