  1. The snow was fantastic. Red Crow was a bit chewed up and rougher than usual but lower Eagle Tail and North Axe were great. The steep pitch on Upper North Axe was not skidded off so even I could get an edge and ride it. Allee cleaned it twice.

Thanks. Sounds like an awesome session.

  2. So, it looks like I have to get my butt out of bed early Sat then. Cool. Might have to head home and put some wax on the green machine, give it at least one day out this season ...

Thanks for the session today gang! Everyone was Huckin' it!

    Bruce

  3. Stoked that you had a great last day. Have a good trip home and a great SES ... see you next year, hopefully.

Thanks to everyone for a great weekend! And thanks to Riceball for organizing another great weekend. Did we have 18 carvers at lunch yesterday? That's a pretty good turnout for our little corner of the world.:)

Yes Thanks Rice! Had a blast. Zach wants to start his own "Carve Brigade". He'll be on a hardboot set up by the end of this year.

    Bruce.

  4. Hey guy's hope everyone had a great summer. This looks like a late reply but just logging in after a long summer break. I sessioned Red Crow with Darcy on Monday the 17th. It was real crusty in parts and completely trenchable in others. Anything off Silver was completely crusty. Got the juice's flowing anyway. See ya'll soon!

  5. I used to make snow at Nakiska in the 90's. They have to make enough in the fall to survive the warmest chinook filled winter. They also have talented groomers that keep stock piles of snow in different high traffic area's that they can scratch and scrape from in the spring. Anything fresh, like we are getting now, won't hurt either.
