OK guys, what size board would I get? Do you go smaller when not on a true carving board? 149? 152? 155? (I'm 5'4") Thanks!!

Thanks all for the imput! I chatted with someone at a shop today and they are recommending the Gnu Ladies Choice in size 148.5. Seems tiny - I may have to go up to the 151.5 or 153.5 (I'm not sure what is with the ".5"s.) For boots the Ride Hera and bindings Burton Escade or Lexa. No decision made yet!

I still love my hard boot setup with my Coiler but if I were to also get a soft boot set up what would people recommend for a woman? I have heard that the Lib Tech boards have great edge hold and that Roxy is the lady version. Appreciate thoughts. Thanks!

January 5-8 might be tough because of being off from work earlier that week. I'll make it work for whenever you plan it because last year was so much fun and how often do you get to go up on the 6 pack with all lady carvers? And have a wonderful dinner at Cheri & Shaggy's place?

Parking at Snowdon allows you to quickly get on the Snowdon Quad (a.k.a. "The Couch" as it is a sloooow chair). Snowdon has some great carving trails. If you go to the K1 base parking lot you go to the end furthest away from the gondola. If I want to go into a lodge to put my boots on then I'll park on the K1 side of the lot. But if I was in a trailer and was parking at the Skyship gondola then it is easy enough to get to any part of the mountain.
We are heading up to Killington tonight and will be out on the hill on Friday (March 4) and Saturday (March 5). If you are going to be there too please let me know - channel 11-33 or cell 203.362.8183.

I have some heel pain on my back foot and was wondering if anyone had any suggestions to alleviate this pain. I guess you would call it a bone spur. When I had the liners molded last year at the boot fitter he puched out a space for this hot spot. I put some moleskin around the pressure point which seems to help some and I also decreased the cant. Thanks for any suggestions.

Thanks Stephanie for making the women's carving session happen. It was a great group of old and new friends and mother nature pulled through for us too. Thanks Cheri for the amazing dinners and hospitality. And to Shaggy for my new stance which helped tremendously and to Eric for the tips! The video taping by Alex was the icing on the cake. I hope we can do it again!

These boots have 4 buckles and a power strap.
The lining is starting to tear under the tongue but the heel hold is
still good. One can purchase new liners for them.
Sole length: 269mm
Tongue: 22-24.5

Liners molded once and are remoldable: You can remold up to 6 times.
The boots are the last year of the Raichle line before they were renamed to Deeluxe. These are exactly the same boot as the Deeluxe Susuka just with different colors.

Yes, just a break from routine. I still want to do big carves but I don't want to always HAVE to be carving. Some days I will definitely still use the Coiler but other days I may just want to carve some runs and not other runs.
