1. I am selling a Dynastar 3800, 169cm that has only been ridden a few days and is a great all mountain board that carves and really excels in the powder and slush. I am selling since i bought a Prior Pow stick. see my updated post today for the board (no bindings). if you want plate bindings i have a pair of F2 Race Titanium bindings which are really nice and foregiving that i could sell; send email to sailnboard@aol.com. thx

  2. I am selling the Dynstar 3800 (used only 4 times) on Bomber for $250 which includes shipping. see link below.

  3. Bought this last year off the Forum and used it twice. Prior owner riden only a few times so still in like new condition.

I had been looking for a powder board that could carve which it fulfilled but reality is that I board on east coast and powder is scarce so I'd like to use the money and put it towards a metal carving board.

I paid $290 for it last year including shipping and would like to get close to that.

    Thanks,

  4. Thanks Dave and BlueB - I am not familiar with either of those boards but I am intrigued by those threads. I currently ride a Prior 4WD 179 mostly on east coast ice and groomers and love the board but want something new that I don't have to ride in 4th or 5th gear and that can handle the hardpack and the powder as I take more trips out West. I really want a Prior Pow Stick but never see a used one and don't have $ to buy new. I am 6'4" and 215# so probably want something closer to 170 in length. Would the Dynastar be too close of a cousin to the AWD?

  5. Great responses by everyone especially on building your core strength and flexibility.<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />

I had L4/5 S1 extractions 10 years ago and after PT which focused on core and flexibility I was able to keep snowboarding (although I sold my freestyle board and avoid the park). When I don't keep up the exercises I hurt really badly. Leg strength and muscle flexibility was as important as abs and back muscles.

I recently bought Prior 4WD, bumped my angles from 30/20 to 55/48 and spent the past 2 days carving much deeper and harder than ever before and could barely move this morning (I did fall a # of times getting used to the sweet spot which probably aggravated things). Advil and ice the night after and then Advil and heat the next day allowed me to get to work today.

I liked the discussion on diff riding techniques.

I wonder if other BOLs have tried chiropractors, I always wondered if they could help.

  6. I just got some Heads Mondo 28 from Starting Gate.

Boots were tight and my toes could feel end of liner but did not seem too tight. Definitely have at least 2 fingers of room behind my heel when my foot was just in the shell so can't imagine a bigger shell size.

After 30 mins of wearing my left front foot started to go numb. I am hoping that is becuase I have not heat molded the toes and heels on the Head liner.

As Jack said i should go see a bootfitter but always welcome comments from the BOL gallery.

    thx

  7. I've read the Bomber guide on sizing and talked some other members offline but I thought I would throw these questions out to the BOL group.

I measure 26.9cm, i have a high arch, high instep, normal width foot. I weigh 210# and like flexible boots but want a power strap. I am all mtn rider, not an aggressive carver.

I am leaning towards Head Stratos Pros. Some say Heads run small.

I tried on a Deeluxe Indy with brand new Thermoliner in MP29 and it was very snug but probably could have gone to a MP28. I tried on a Burton Reactor MP27 and it was too small.

Any thoughts on sizing, how the Heads fit, or anyone with similar sized foot and their boot sizing would help.

    Thx

  8. Sierra...

would like to talk more about the WCR vs. WCRM, i presume one is metal. what are the riding differences? is one more stiff than the other, are they both all mtn boards. honestly i am really sold on the 4wd but if the WCR or WCRM is a similar all mtn ride i am interested. i'm 205lbs, would that be too much for 169? finally, i am trying to lower my boot angles, currently ride 48 / 39, would these work on these boards?

also can you send the stats on each board (model year, scr, waist, tip, tail sizes etc.)

curious do you have any bindings to sell?

    sorry for so many questions:smashfrea

you can ping me on james.mascott@rbsbusinesscapital.com

    thx
