  1. Hey All!! I am selling my 2004 Donek 171 Freecarve I. I am looking to get $200 but this price is negotiable. Board is USED, lots of scratches and bangs, but still rides great. This would be a great first board for anyone interested in getting into Alpine freecarving. This is cross posted so please send any offers to my email fretlessfish at gmail dot com. Willing to ship lower 48, anywhere else shipping is on you!

    Thanks and Happy New Year!

  2. I have a soft boot carver Tinkler TNT , right now it has a plate on it. I don't think I will leave it like that, just had to see it all set up. I like the feel on my longboards too, Tanker 200cm.

I do want to try their "Triple Base Technologies" some day.

http://www.bataleon.com/tbt Promo video strikes me slightly odd?

Yeah to say the least!! Thanks for post Bryan! I'll have to show this to my local shop when it's time for a grind. The TBT is cool, you can really tell the difference in a small board like that, it turns so nicely.

  3. Trying, the FR2s made it too hard to resist. I let go of three pair of FR1s a while back. Decided that if I have any plans to soft

boot in the future, with Catek MIA, it is time to get them. I think I am good to go. Thanks,

PS, did you get those C60 Mediums? Do you like them better than the FR2s?

No, not yet. I'm waiting for my tax return. I haven't tried the FR2's, but I'll let you know what the c60's feel like. I mostly hardboot, but being an Instructor, I need a good softboot set-up as well. Hoping that the c60's with DriverX boots will do the trick. I'm riding a 157 Bateleon "the Jam". It's a great board for freestyle and freeride. Let me know what you think of the FR2's. What stick will you be using those with?

  4. Hey Jtslalom,

Saw you guys but had a team of newbies so I did not get on the hill again till 10:30-11:00. :-(

I will be at MountainCreek this Wednesday from 9-11:00 in the morning if anyone is down for a little carving.

I'll be working but I'm sure I can sneak away for a few runs. Call me in the morning.

  5. So you guys mostly carve on North? I've only done south, just under the impression North got full of families and beginners real quick. Also, I'm only carving about three season a and I currently have the most time on my 160 slalom Burton speed. I have a 68 volk Rt gs, but isn't that over kill for this small a resort?

no way!! i ride the same exact board!!
