  1. Don't give me crap because I am sporting soft boots....Now that I have that out of the way, I am setting up a new (to me) Donek Razor with some Flow NXT's. I have never had ridden a free carve setup so I have some questions. Should I be centered on the board for carving on groomers. More nose than tail? I will not be riding this in Pow. Stance is right around 19.5". I usually ride 22.5" on my freestyle and pow boards. Angles are around 38 front and 30 rear. The angles I can figure out pretty easily, it is actual binding placement that concerns me.

  2. Riding for 20+ yrs. Want to use soft boots. I have narrowed it down to these two boards. I won't be on this board in pow only on groomers. I have never owned a board this stiff. I have been riding a Burton Omen 170 and loving it. 6' 175lbs looking at 176 Razor with Cateks or a Sabre. Don't know the sizing on the Sabres. Any input would be appreciated.

  3. Hi Folks,

I am a 42 yr old snowboarder with 25+ yrs of experience on soft boots. I want to stick to the soft boots and was looking for a board to dig some trenches. I can carve the hell out of my 170 Burton Omen but it does have its limits. I want to stick to soft boots for the time being. What should I be looking at? I am 6 feet tall and weigh in at 175lbs. I normally ride a 170 in pow and a 161 for my freestyle deck.

  4. First post here,

I have been snowboarding for 20+ yrs on soft gear. Expert + rider. Now I want to get into carving. This year we will have a house at the base of Heavenly so I thought this would be a great year to learn how to dig some trenches. I love to carve on my soft gear but I thought it was time to step up to some hard boots and a carving board when the conditions are right. I am 6' 175lbs with a Mondo point size 28-29 foot depending on the boot. I live on the coastside so anything in the bay area is driving distance for me. I don't want to spend too much on my first board but I am all about performance. Any thoughts, recommendations would be much appreciated.
