  1. I'm pretty sure Ryan has won the race 3 or 4 years in a row on a Donek designed specifically around him and that race. Looks like Johnny Hammond came in 5th on a Donek as well.

Yea, for DONEK,at least it was not a KESSLER in first. What length, scr, boards were these guys on.That race looks sick.

  2. Fin, Michelle, Kress, CJ, Rys, Steve, Ricky the Cat, James... I can think of a few others

    Anyone else need prodding?[/

    Yo, Thor don't need a prod,just a ride.Working on a ride with Dave Winters.I also will need a ticket.

  3. Started skating on clay wheels, then came Sims Pure Juice wheels.I'm sure a few can remember these.Soft boots(1984-90).Hard boots to present.I cut my teeth snowboarding on Berthoud Pass, riding with Butch Bendell and Mike Troutman. These guys were making thermoplastic boards ,ULTIMATE CONTROL BOARDS(UCB).

  4. I came on to a site RACING BOLTS.COM.They make the M6X16MM bolts in Titanium.I know not much weight savings.I do know that aluminum and titanium don't get along That's when the TI PREP from Finish Line comes in.Is there a difference in tensile strength on titanium vs stainless? Uber exspensive about 60 clams for the M6 bolts.Just lookin' at the cool factor of titanium.Bottom line, Fin would you use titanium bolts if it was more affordabale?

  5. Volant 173. Rode it for 5 years and it still had good camber even with my 220 lbs pounding the s**t out of it. Sold it to finance my first Coiler (long decambered from a crash). Before the Volant my favorite was a Sims MFR 174. I didn't sell it though, I broke two of them and would have bought a third if I could have found one.

    I have a MFR 174 MINT condition,I did'nt like it,I don't weigh enough.If ya would like to buy it,it's for sale:biggthump

  6. I work on Steamboat race crew (7-years).This is the worst thing that can happen, makes my stomach turn.Gotta have spotters on the knoll yelling at your ass COURSE COURSE.He should not of even been there.Stop, wait for the next racer over the knoll, then go.I learned from the best, Rodger Perricone I'll have to show that vid in our training
