I have for sale a pair of UPZ RC10 boots sized 25.5 in the cream color. I bought them new and rode them during the 2010-2011 season. They went unused last season because I was away at college. They are in very good condition. If you are interested or have questions, please pm me. I am asking $275 +shipping OBO.

I am selling my Volkl Renn Tiger 163 SL. I went away to college last year and didn't have room (or time) to keep riding it. It was raced by me from 2008-2011 and had zero days on it last season. The edges are still good on it. There are pock marks under the inserts. The topsheet has only a few minor blemishes that will not affect the performance of the board.
I am asking $200 + shipping. please email me at jojogreen222@gmail.com as I do not check messages on bomber very frequently.

If any of the theives knew anything about hardbooting, they would've had a field day.

Is is basically switching edges by pulling your legs to your body?

One has to be wickedly uncoordinated to catch an edge on a rocker; so you don't get slammed hard therefore you have a good feeling of sliding on snow and the perception of ripping it up. And you will come back again. Get slammed hard and you don't come back again. So for beginners it is a good thing though it might limit progression and make the individual a poor rider/carver.
Maybe we should have rounded plastic edges so they can't catch an edge no matter how far they lean.

In my opinion, Northstar doesn't have enough steep terrain. The weekends are crazy with eveyrone congested in the gondola line, or congested near the lodge up the gondola. It is not all that much fun for me.

Ever since Lib Tech came out with the magna traction and the rocker a few years ago, the rockers have taken off. It's even hard to find a decent bx board in the local shops. After browsing in my shop, it seemed my only two options were a Burton Custom X, or a Burton T6. Based on what I've seen so far, it is more about personal preference.

Check out Sierra Nevada college in tahoe. I'm not certain, but I think they do have scholarships.

My only concern is the plate that connects to the board. With that much metal, I wonder if it would delaminate the board because it can't flex properly. i'd try some UHWPE (Ultra High Molecular Weight Polyeurethane) it would allow the board to flex more naturally. I made a set of spacers out of it so my bindings wouldn't break the metal on my board, and it has worked great.

Step 1: buy a board for $1500
Step 2: Ride it for a season
Step 3: Sell it at the end of the season for around $700 (then its like you paid $800 for a new board)
Step 4: repeat steps 1-3.

400m of jumping lunges. Jumping lunges are the same as regular lunges but you do a jump in between. Do these once a week. (you will fall into a chair for the first few days)

I am interested in the Kessler. How much are you asking?

I used HDPE plastic. This stuff is used in the sushi kitchens and is very strong. I drilled holes in it and got longer screws at the hardware store. It has worked pretty well so far.

sorry,
I already bought a pair and forgot about this post...

These Boots are still for sale

After riding with a camelback, I just take a coat hanger and wedge it inside the bladder so that it is open and it can dry.... I have never had any problems doing this.
Some of the camelbacks have the insulated hoses so the water doesn't freeze. They work great.

if I looked down one of the runs that was "Skier only", and it was packed, I would smile because I would know that there wasn't any skiers on the rest of the mountain. but, if i looked down that run and there were no skiers on it, I would be angry, because they fought for it, yet nobody is using it.

The palmer crown is a good all-mountain board. If you are looking for something better for carving, go for the Palmer Carbon Circle.
-
The high back is designed to help you on heelside turns. So when you put your feet into your bindings, they should be level with the edge.

I was curious whether anyone uses ski racing gloves? I was thinking that they might have padding on the fingertips.
