Hi, I just moved to Seattle and am wondering if there are any good carving mountains within a few hours drive?
Thanks!

Hey Mark,
Please add me to the list. I plan on making it for at least one day.
Can I demo a board and bindings from you guys?
-
Steph, just sent you some dates via PM. I hope we can make this work!!
-
Queequeg also meant to add we're looking to go up this weekend and ride 1/8 and 1/9
-
I'm so jealous of you guys with weekdays free!
I'm thinking of being back at Stratton on Sunday 1/23. TBD whether i can make it up for the whole weekend yet, in which case I would ride Friday and Saturday too. Will be in touch for sure when my plans are final.
Michelle and Angie, look forward to seeing you at SES!

WOW look at all the ladies coming out of the woodwork! And who says hardbooting is a man's sport.....sheesh.
GO GIRLS!
We should try for the weekend before or after MLK weekend, let me know if one of those works. We just need to pick a place - I usually ride at Stratton. Maybe Steph and AMK can make it one of those weekends...ladies?
-
Hi Girls!
I missed out on the Ladies Day Out back in 2005 and I'm finally really trying to get back into the sport.
Would absolutely love a chance to learn from some girls this season!
I'm in CT so I'd be happy to meet up at any East Coast Mountain.
Elisa
Hey Elisa! I can think of at least four of us in the NY/CT/VT area. It would be great to get together one weekend for a ladies session! Maybe sometime after the holidays?
-
I'm in! Flights are booked. Hotel is booked. Can't wait!!
Lisa
-
Ang, will you and I be the only ones? Wow...it's great to be popular and all but..you know. Come on girls! Patrice? Lisa? Shelly? Ann???
I'm definitely in! Probably booking flights this weekend. Can't wait!:D
-
Thanks for posting these Shaggy!
This was such a great day to end an amazing week. I had the best time riding with you all (as you can probably see from the big grin on my face)!
Can't wait till next time!

Nice shot Shaggy!!

I've worn these for the last 2 years. http://www.dakine.com/ski/gloves/wristguards/wristguard/. Their marketing person should be fired for not providing a front view of the guard that actually does the protecting, but they're solid.
For a newbie on east coast ice, I'm positive they've kept me from breaking my wrist multiple times.
I did break my thumb though last year, which landed me in a removable plaster brace that went around my thumb and about 5 inches above my wrist. That actually worked even better as a wrist guard so I asked my physical therapist to make me one for my other hand but they were like $40 each.
-
Ahh, haven't checked there. Will do that, thanks!!
-
It was great to meet and ride with everyone! Agree with Hockey2, we should get together more often. Belleayre is a good little mountain. I actually may be getting roped into a family trip back there next weekend. Will post when I'm sure.
Hope to see everyone at ECES!
Best,
LiLi

Anyone have a set of non-racing tongues for a pair AF700s? I'm looking to make my boots a little less stiff. I think I can use ones from a MP23 - 24.5 boot (assuming you go by the numbers inside the shell). I'll trade if anyone wants the racing tongues.
