-
hey boris,
good to see you on the hill. I dont ride much at cypress ( pass at whistler) but let me know about a get together.
-
sorry , both of you. Interested in both boards.
-
or perhaps sell me the thorndike !!!
Would you be willing to ship the donek to canada ??
-
from the shape looks like a MFR.............
-
naked big toes
-
what about a prior pow stick ?
-
i know the feeling. Two seasons ago lost bot big toe nails :( . Last season only lost one .
The solution from my bootfitter was to punch the toe box above the big toe are.
Currently all toes are healthy
-
depends how wide your feet are - i of course of wide sasquatch feet.
my feet touched both sides of the shell with the liners out.
but i agree with the above. tell the boot fitter exactly how they feel when riding and they should be able to fix the prob
-
punching the boots actually involves heating the shell snd cresting a small - kind of bump in the shell to give you more room. i have the same problem with wide feet. had to get the boots punched 3 times. they are now perfect.
they can also punch out the toe area to give your big foot more room (been there too)
make sure you go to a good(ski) boot fitter though

prior will be able to get u a board. speak to chris or dean and they may also be able to set u up with some bindings.
alternatively fanatyk co in the village has alpine rentals.
or let me know when u guys are going to be up there, and if i can make it i might be able to lend u some gear. if we ever get any snow that is :( :(
-
hay dave,
was up for the last 4 days dude and only got on the hil on sat--- hideous
-
we have had an inversion (another one) the last couple of days. No decent snow fall for close to 2 weeks. So bring a board that you dont mind getting a few scratches in. I will be up there this weekend, so drop me a line and maybe we can hook up
-
i have 2 priors (4x4 and a pow stick) and have nothing but good things to say. It`s nice to be able to talk directly to the guy that is building your board. The topsheets do mark relatively easily though.
-
detuned edges, but still rails on ice
dubious to say the least
-
definately only during the week.
weekends can get a little crazy and way too crowded
-
whistler/blackcomb season pass $1639 + 7% tax............or $73 a day
luckily student passes are only $400 :p
-
next in line for the bindings and heels

The most comments i get are when riding my swallowtail with plates.
"why does that board have a piece missing at the back??"
well i was going so fast that i broke a piece of the board off !!
-
no wonder they are sloppy, i may be wrong but isnt size 10 about 27 mondo ?
Depends on how wide your feet are. I have wide feet and have had huge amounts of boot work to get my deelux to fit. I understand that the head are a little more roomy width wise.
