Hey everyone, thanks for the love! I'actually doing pretty well, as it turns out ,I broke my sternum and seperated my shoulder. I made band pratice before going to the hospital and haven't missed work. The benifits of modern pharmacology are not to be taken lightly. Ice, Bigs and Ink: thanks for extracting me from my gear and picking me up. The next round is on me. As God is my witness, I'll ride again before this season ends.

Chair #2 Update
=20922486192&p[]=405612327287"]Share
We want to let everyone know about a change on Chair 2 that will go into effect on Monday, April 5, 2010.
We are going to continue to offer our full menu of ski school lessons after The Valley closes on Sunday, April 4th. In order to accommodate beginner level skiers and riders, we will be converting the midway load station on Chair 2 to an unload station only. Skiers and riders will NOT be allowed to load at the midway point for the remainder of the season.
We have gotten requests for late season lessons and in past seasons we have not been able to accommodate that demand. This change will allow us to offer beginners and first timers the opportunity to take a lesson after Chair 7 closes for the season.
This is strictly a trial and is not permanent.
Skiers and riders can also access Chair 9 from Chair 4.
If you have any questions/comments/concern<WBR>s, please give us a call or shoot us an e-mail at marketing@skiloveland.com
I think this is a questionable idea and I'll write them and tell them i don't like it.

I went from a Niedecker 173 GS to the FCII 179 this year and my riding bumped up about 3 levels. I am hooked on the Donek thing now , the board rides really well through a bunch of conditions and also through a range of riding styles. In all fairness , I havent ridden the Volkl, but i ski Volkl skis and love them. I really am happy with the FC and the folks I ride with would tell me if there is something I was missing.I'm looking at other offerings in the Donek line for next year, Just my 2 cents.

I've ridden 4 days on an application. Every condition from spring corn to western boiler plate. The wax has held up well, and there's enough in the middle of the board to do a light rewax, with minimal new product applied. A lot of the riding I've done over the last week has been highly abrasive melt/freeze conditions and I'm impressed how well the wax held up.
The wax seemed to show no preference to snow temperature or consistency, and in fact seemed to smooth out some highly changing density conditions. My expierence is a little different then with the lb. of wax I bought from a large east coast supply house , that did not seem to fair nearly as well in terms of durability and range of conditions.
I'm going to iron this coat out and see how it fairs.

Glad to here you had a day Don, you looked a little down in the parking lot on the way out, Arne and I were concerned.
One of the best carve days of the year, great weather , good snow and the crew was in rare form. 8 was fantastic! and if I'd the juice left I would have stayed longer on 3. A real pleasure riding with everyone, Angie your killin it. Thanks for the day all.
