It has inserts for hangle plates. and I don't think it is a Virus board, I'll ask D
I'm thinking about making a riser plate out of a Loaded longboard...... now, how to make it free floating...
-
i like my flow bindings. what angles do you run?
-
Darren hooked me up with a mystery Asym(mabey from Europe), with a bit of rocker in the nose.
it's fun, but needs a riser of some sort. anny ideas?

Skiers right.
it would be fun to run it from the top to the bottom i guesstimate that wuld be a 50 to 60 second run
-
it was a fun course. some major crankin turns.... across the hill.
skiers were runing in the 35second range. i had a few 39 second runs. Guy on softies was runing in the 47 second range.
the snow was sooo killer!! hero grooming
I'll try to be back for the 23rd
apparently they are having the welding department fab some snowboard starts.
cheepest training around!!!

I'm going to try and make it to tonight's race... gotta ride some fresh snow. and summit is dry

I was surprised to see Darren in a speed suit. he usually races in tighter fitting pants and a tighter jacket. After all that traveling he did this winter he needed that $1000. it's not as bad wearing a suit in the warm spring weather.
Ive got the inside scoop on Darren Because he is my younger brother. He had a great season, I'm crazy happy for him!!

I'll be up at copper on thursday. I'm going to try and demo a board from Fin. If that doesn't work out I'll be on my palmer.
-
thats Crazy!!!! thanks for posting that. are any of the other washington areas in danger of sliding?
-
thanks for the offer, I'll weigh my options tomorrow. and get back to you by the end of the day.
-
Thanks Ink, I'll give him a call tomorrow. I look forward to riding with you loveland kids a few times this season.

I will post this in a few areas to try and get a ride this week. I can be ready to leave wendsday thursday or friday.
I want to go up to the Boat to watch the Race, and spend some time with my brother Darren. I can give $ for Gas.
thanks

I like the riding in vids one and two.
the heal side in video one is more stable and good for race tech.
the heal side in video 2 is very closed legged. probably running front and back canting. looks fun and best for easy carving snow.
when it gets icy I would go for the less edge angle of video one.
this is just my opinion

width, and side cut please.

I have ridden the magna traction lib teck.....looks like a way to have dull board for jibing and still make it down ice. not my style
has any one tried the K2 Gyrator????? looks like a better stab at the decamber style

Hmm when I bought boots From "Lesnowman" he said that Cypress Mtn was hosting a "big race" this year. I hope Cypress holds a few big races, to get ready for 2010.
Hopefully they will let me for-run the course....I am looking forward to carvin it up this year
-
wishing you a solid recovery....

I am in the process of getting some hard boots... so stoked to do some carving on the non freshie days. it has been like 8 years since i have had the rush of a slicing heel-side carve.
I am trying to justify geting a weekday pass as opposed to my usual one night a week.
I do not have a car... so i need to find a ride to Cypress on the week days.
I live by Grandview and boundry. in east van. right by the highway:)
one or two days a week is all i need. I will have gass $ for ya
-
killer..congratulations...BC is one of the best places in the world
-
if sunday is free i will be there

Barfoot was the first board i ever slid down a mtn. the neon green one, what a blast.
Darren keeps droping hints that a Loaded Snowboard is in the works....
hopefully Chuck will take part in the construction and mfg.....Darren Ratcliffe is a great designer and a great rider. I cant wate to ride the new loaded snowboard line.

are boarder cross riders allowed to use plate systems? those bumpy berms look tuff.
