  1. This is my first year on a hard boot set up and its costing just under $400. that plus a season pass is going to hurt the budget a bit, but since i started carving on a soft set up and a bx board this was bound to happen. I hope this isn't a yearly thing because i am still in school and for the next 2 months will be eating nothing but roman noodles and whatever my roomates leave in the fridge with no name on it. I can always try to keep my board alive for an extra season or 2 by running through glebs quiver a bit this year.

oh and i think this is the only site where i can say i am itching for some snow and not get sent to rehab.

does anyone know the waist on this board

And do you think this board would be ok for some that weighs between 150-165 depending on the month lol

i was hoping for something a bit longer, but does this length look decent?

i like a soft boot setup i know it sounds dumb but it worked with an oxygen i barrowed from gleb last year i am thinking about transitioning this year to hardboots when i find a good deal

    size 10ish shoe.

does this sound like a good deal.

    Any info would be apreciated.

especially when the board ur on can bend in half and your ankle feels like bending with it. I think i'm def carving now idk how great, but gleb says i'm doin good. Hopefully my ankle will get better by next week and i can take a trip to killington. No more riding the madd although it was fun the thing is way to flexible and can't handle any speed.

  4. I am looking for a full set up hard boots bindings and board for a newb. the catch is i am hoping for something not much more then $150. i am guessing this is gonna be tough, but if anyone has any suggestions let me know.

  5. i'm the friend of glebs carving in the softees and i am a huge fan. i would pick it up if i had the money. depending on my financial situation in the next 5 days i might still go after it. Oh and i am new so it can't be that hard to carve on these things if i can do it in softees.

  6. I had pretty good foot position on my soft board but its really tiny and i have tried to carve a bit, but i am on the east coast and have a ****ty board. Gleb is a buddy of mine and he said he would let me use one of his boards to try it out a bit. Idk if i really wanna move all the way to hard boots any time too soon and i feel like that would end up costing me a ton of money. My plan now is to use my soft boots and bindings that i already have and throw them on an ok cheap board. My biggest issue now is that it is hard to find a cheap enough board when you don't know where to look.

Also i was actually at killington this past weekend and all i can say is i don't have the skill to get through all the mogles, but because there was so much bowder it was a good time flying off them and tumbleing down the mountain.

Any idea why killington has so many mogles??

sorry about the off topic question.

  7. I am pretty new to snowboarding. I feel like i am ok on a softboard, but i am interested in carving. I don't think i am ready to jump ioonto hardboots yet and i was wondering if a softboot boardercross type board would be a good transition. Also i was wondering if anyone could point me in the right direction to find a good set up for real cheap because i am a starving college student.

Oh and gleb pointed me to this website he is actually who helped me learn the softboard stuff originally and is the one who kinda pointed me towards carving.
