Thanks guys. It was taken Monday at dusk at Mont Cascades. It was a colaboration with another photographer. My camera body, his lens, and one flash each made it possible. Gotta give credit to Shawn Carter for pushing the button...

I've heard that the total angle shouldn't exceed 30 degrees. I think this is somewhat closeminded but I also think that 40 degrees is a bit excessive. Since you're new, play around with it. If 25/-15 works best for you in the end, stick with that. I'm running 17/-10 on my freeride board and 15/-15 on my park board
-
I don't think my knees could handle 25/-15. Maybe 22/-8 or something... just my personal opinion though.

I'm probably just being picky, but i wanna see how it does on groomers. These were all taken in primo european pow...

Burton does something like this on a few of their recent boards. It isn't adjustable, but it's supposed to maintain camber for longer. They give the board excessive camber, then use a rod, and the topsheet to flatten it back down.

Stay away from Head. Deeluxe/Raichle are really good, as are UPZ. I heard about a NorAm racer sponsored by head that dropped THEM because they were garbage...

wait? so people don't like F2 bindings because of the slight flex and forgiveness built it... don't bomber bindings have E-Rings for that particular purpose?

I want to see some footy. The pictures are great but you can only tell so much about how much it can take. I'm particularly intersted in the softboot carving aspect, not so much EC but just solid linked carves.

thats a tough one. with those crescent moon shapes it would be hard to fix. I know some racers take their boots out of the box and replace the circular hinges with a couple metal washers and a bolt right away
-
If i saw a snowboarder with poles i'd push em over...

Prior or Donek boards
Deeluxe or UPZ for boots (don't bother with head)
F2 or Bomber Bindings

The Pro Race would probably be last year's. Pro Teams are probably the year before's. Hey Mclank, whats your real name?

And trust me... it would be a shame to ride this thing without the hangles. I know i`m not going back

This makes me happy too. Kandahar is a sick run. Used to train for SL on it.

I'm in Ottawa, you're in Vancouver eh?
I would really like to make this sale, could a dozen pictures or so do instead of actually seeing the board?

I have a 163 Nidecker Proto. The topsheet is scratched up but the base and edges are mint. It's pretty stiff and lively, but feel free to contact me.
Here is a link to the for sale page

I also have a 162 O'sin that i think would be perfect. it's 22cm wide instead of 18, it's also softer which should make the transition easier. Either one could come with hardboot bindings if you want.

Thats a bummer dude. Would have been good to have someone else. We just had it set up for a couple runs at a time. Totaly could have gone through with the lights...
What do you ride? I'm up there all the time. I'm teaching at Cascades full time. Just look for the guy in the red jacket on either a green/yellow stripey board, big black freeride board, or an SG slalom board with Hangles.
