Welch was a carvers paradise tonight, even without lookout chairlift running.... seriously id take the glaze over most conditions just how the drizzle froze over suit, also, pete your a freak of nature!! hope you made it home ok, thanks for the intermission break hulios in the school yard.

No helmet yet, just a mad bomber hat, u know the rabbit fur hat leather nice and warm, kinda scares people, but then again so does my riding, I think im going to get a pair of ass and thigh pads for these icy hills, also god when there blowing those snow guns and your on the chair lift and its -4 ...:lol: at least the wind was calm..
I need to do something with my head phones ever since I or My board sprung me on my head about five years ago..I think of getting those ear phones that dont have that metal band that goes over your head it acts like a razor to your scalp if your head hits the ground properly..

I live in..well u know where, I always go boarding about two days or so after a small dump.

Welch Village will be almost fully open, Afton will be much open, wild mountain is already open... have a blast I'll be waiting until mid Dec need to do some trainging first..

my anwser is that i have a FP180 i ride in mn....if that answers one thing. very small hills lots of people. Im 5'7 170 and positively love to be pushing the envelope, although i have been itchy to try a sl board for the quick scr you will recieve with a sl board. very quick turns with short scr is intreging..
but small hills with alot of turns usually will me no speed or at least not enough for me. I think a mountain would be fun hmmmm ya very fun.

Id love the board if you say it was to stiff, im 165 riding a FP180s, does s mean soft?
How does the FP compare with the Volkl. Do they have a simular ride?

Just ride what you have for now. I rode Tech. TNTs in Bomber TD1s for years. Rode great I just had to get used to them.. Matter of fact I rode only ski boots from 91-98. with a few times I tried snowboard boots but they always just exploded.
That is interesting I liked my TNTs better can you put clip in heels on TNTs??

With binding angles around 60 degrees, there is A LOT of side-to-side motion while carving.
So true..I noticed more shin slints when sking hard .
I've race in high school sking, came out of the service freinds were freeride boarding, bought my first freeride one year later bought a FP 180s and never turned back .....its the most exspressive sport out there if you ask me.
Im almost .....sad not to miss sking
