  1. Up for sale is a pair of Intec heels, used but in good shape. The cables on both sides look to be rock solid. Unused T-nut boot hardware and all screws included, as well as new handles.

$53, which includes shipping to the lower 48. :)

Will you consider shipping to BC, Canada. Willing to pay extra shipping as required. Have Paypal account.

    Thanks,

    ruwi

  2. I picked up some rocks and throw them away for you guys:biggthump

But still so many rocks were there.orange : rock (blue : icy)

Have fun early in the season my friends. I will wait until at least 1m of descent coverage. I love my Rock Board so much:o. Also more coverage will be more friendly with my stiff back if I wipe out. Most likely to happen. So out of shape.:(

  3. Hey Ruwi,

Great to meet you today and thanks for the deal on the boots. Can't wait to try them out. Hopefully I will see you on the hill and get a few pointers from you.

BlueB (Boris), CarvingScooby (Roy) are regulars at Cypress and some other riders. Feel free to approach them. I will for sure ride at Cypress on a limited basis due to current back issue. Watch the Ride Board Section of the forum for updates on who will be riding so you can join them as well.

  6. Right philw

That was me "nice board" my comment. I didn't bring a carving board to ride due to weather. I saw you once while riding the Screaming Eagle chair. I tried to sneak in a run every time the rain stopped and the sun trying to peak. It didn't last so I was soaking wet. Been teaching with my hard boot setup using Dynastar 3800 163.

    Cheers,

  7. What a crazy season. Over the weekend at Grouse to pick up my gear from Snow School, the slope is nearly deserted, went 1 run at the Cut, 1 Run at the peak with my freeride rock board, slush everywhere and boulders of rock very visible in spite of poor visibility. Today a view from the skytrain and our office tower, Grouse Mountain is white out again. Sad it's close to public already. Today 3rd of May is the staff appreciation day. Can't make it due to my other job. Hope that staff will have a good time today.

  8. No more alpine riding for me. Will be there this Saturday just to pick up my teaching gears. Oh since I will be waiting for my wife - snowshoeing, maybe I'll take the Peak Bumps. Sunday possibly Gardening a bit. Whistler next Sunday, sure. I've been to Whistler only once this season.

Mind you, they are operating the Blue(small) sky ride. No longer Blue, it's white now with OAKLEY logo on it.

  9. Somehow they haven't laid me off from Work at Grouse. I just keep on getting e-mails that I don't need to show up on my schedule every Thursday and somehow I haven't got one today. I have to show up every Sat anyway for my wife's Snowhoeing while I ride and Sundays we ski together.

Me and my Son were riding Tuesday night. Although there are mud spots already at the Cut it is still carvable. The expo runs were still good as well as the peak and Heaven's sake trail. Night ride maybe better as the colder temperature keeps the snow more firm compared to mushy warm temp at Noon.

They still want to sell more of the Y2Play passes I believe as their 24 hr operations last Feb wasn't really good, lots of overhead because of the drought. Not many were encouraged to venture out including me..

But let's face the truth, it is melting... Whistler, Whistler..

  10. Went up the first tram at Grouse this morning. Didn't see Crucible nor Ruwi! Where were you guys?

Ride of the day: Dynastar 3800 163.

I was on the 2nd tram up and rode straight to Olympic Chair runs, as expected powder, powder. Visibility is very poor (unfriendly) early in the morning that I didn't see Tony at all. Early afternoon the sun tried to peak in and out but traffic got worse and Screaming Eagle (the Cut still closed) until I left around 1430 Hrs. I met Gordon in his skis and had a few runs with him. By noon the Peak chair opened and I just stayed there since that is the only one with no line up (Blue & Black runs).

Rise of the day for the first time this season:

    Dynastar 4807 - 178 Swallow Tail.

  11. I went up to Grouse this am at 0900 and it was ClOSED due to high winds and a power outage.

Crucible George, why? you never check the snow phone line 604 986-6262(option 1). I was awake and ready from 6:00 AM, checking the status every 2 hrs until past 2:00 PM they settled for closed for the remainder of the day. Darn winds, I have my 4WD ready. See you tomorrow, I'll bring my Dynastar 4807 Tail. In the web, they will be open until 18th April.:D
