  1. The FAST heel works in standard heel bails as there is no pin protrusion. The pin is on the heel piece of the binding. The profile of the heel piece is the same as a standard heel. Heels and toes are interchangeable with other boots.

The boot has a range stiffness of adjustment via spring tension. Can be flipped down for walk mode. As far as shell flex, I would say that since they are not the race version, The shell and tongue combo falls on the more recreational side of the fence. I am not familiar enough with other boots to advise an accurate comparison. Check The Carvers Almanac for a good explanation. A search of this forum will yield more enlightened information.

    I hope that helps.

  2. I am not familiar enough w/ the Head or Blax bindings to comment...perhaps someone in the peanut gallery could chime in on this.

I have used these Boots in TD1, TD2, SnowPro & Burton Race bindings w/o any problems.

This just in...FREE SHIPPING , I will cover the cost of ground shipping to lower 48 states or contribute that share to any other method of delivery. Howze that ??? Act now to assure Holiday delivery.... :biggthump

  4. Thank You Speedzilla for sending the payment so promptly. I will package the Skwal and get it to you Pronto.

I enjoyed the auction. It stirred things up a little, some buttons got pushed,we got to talking.

I know Ebay is one way of doing it, but this was more fun.

Thank you Mr Doyle for hosting this venue.

    See ya, BB

PS: It's not the speed that gets you, it's the sudden stops!

  5. My very first attempt to contact the 'Winner" was through his profile. This person does not make his Email address available, hidden if you will. Our moderator does not have any contact info on this person either. Hmmm...WTF!, over. Probably on Vacation, Granny ill, karma ran over his dogma, computer failure, whatever.....

  6. Field intelligence reports activity lurking on the perimeter dressed in Gore-tex Ghillie suits...I am playing no favorites to groups or privateers. Lump sum bids considered after shipping and Paypal deduction. State your business, I will be as cut rate as possible shipping this to you, best to deal shipping not in the bid. If you plan to use paypal, speak up...on a second thought, f*#k-it Paypal Sanction Dropped, what are we talking $7.50 (Two pints of BarleyPop,ouch!)

    Remember men...Bid High, Bid often!

    Carry on BB

  7. Hi ,I will attempt to answer your questions. Anyone else out there in the Peanut Gallery please chime in....

Determine your foot length, trace each of your feet on a piece of paper, measure them with a metric ruler or convert 2.54 cm/in. Largest foot of the two is your Mondo size.

Board with is a function is your stance angles. Straight ahead on a narrow board vs. duck foot on a freeride board. You are looking for leverage over the toe and heelside edges without risking bootdrag.

I highly reccomend having a bootfitter heat your liners with a good footbed. I did my own, then went to a fitter with complaints of aching arches in my Raichles. He took out my stock Superfeet footbeds went into the backroom made some grinding noise, stuck them back....cured! These guys know things!

(Footloose Ski Shop in Mammoth BTW)

As far as step in system, these are the FAST system as in Snowpro. The pin is in the binding and the boot has a spring loaded detent that does not interfere with any bail type binding. Not compatible with Intec system.

I have used these boots for two seasons, they function just fine with TD1 and TD2 Std Bindings.

    I hope this helps...BB

  8. I have been getting quite a few emails about the Skwal. My friend Is interested in selling it and I agreed to help him. Some of you skateboard racers out there know Jack Smith, the owner of the Skwal, he is dedicated to the promotion of Slalom Skateboarding, also a legend in Sandboarding for over 30 years. We really do not have a clue what this thing is worth to someone,so we are chumming for takers.

While willing to let it go for chump change, we hope to get a fair price and at the same time hope someone gets a good deal.

I really do not have the time to entertain inquiries so I thought the auction idea would more or less self regulate. I seriously do not wish to pit brother against brother in a dollar based show of strength. My intention is to create interest in this oddity, find it a good home, keep us entertained as we get our "Bomberonline Fix" each day and create an archival trail of interested riders that this may be passed on to .

    -Only posted offers are considered.

-Yes, it is drilled w/4x4 inserts.

-Factor in a base grind, there are a few nicks

    Thanks BB

The board is in good shape complete with bindings. we are talking complete package, I don't want to be bothered separating board and bindings.

It goes to the highest posted bid ending one week from now Tues. 8:ooam Pac.Time

I hope this is fair...I have no clue what I have here, so I welcome comment.

  10. Specs -

    • Total Length - 182cm

    • Waist - 18.5cm

    • Nose - 24cm

    • Tail - 23.05cm

    • Side cut Radius - 14.5M

From the literature for this board:

The Velocity is constructed using a custom woven carbon fiber cloth. Strands of carbon fiber run the entire length of the board, over ever single square inch (not a few carbon stringers which effectively accomplish nothing). Our boards have over 75 strands running its length. Carbon fiber is one of the stiffest, most resistant materials in the world. It is used on fighter planes and on space shuttles, in tennis rackets and on formula 1 race cars. Carbon provides strength and stored energy when compressed and tensioned. This means when you make a turn, you flex and been the board using the inertial force of your body weight (energy). The carbon stores this energy momentarily, before returning it to the source. When you exit the turn, the energy is released. The result is a crisp unweighting effect making edge to edge transfer faster, smoother and easier. The Velocity is laminated using "spring core". These precision CNC machined works of art run the entire length of the board, tip to tail. The cores are a combination of poplar stringers laminated edge to edge, with two Canadian maple stringers running around the inserts from the tip of the nose to the tail. The poplar is a lightweight wood, yet it retains the profile it is originally machined to, and has a very high yield when under deflective forces. This means it can bend with the flex of the board and return to its original shape again and again without breaking down the wood fibers. The two maple stringers provide stiff, high memory characteristics for the flex pattern and camber. Combined together through the lamination process, they give the Velocity a stiff, snappy, enduring flex pattern, without using excessive amounts of resin and glue in the lamination process. This keeps the boards light.

Base and edges in perfect shape. Base structured/always waxed.Topsheet dingfree superficial binding marks.

    Storage Waxed

This is a high speed carving machine. Not a beginner board. However, if you would like to rip big GS turns, this is your board. It will hold an edge on anything.

    Bindings not included.
