hiccup...

Good condition, nothing major wrong with it but it has a few scratches on the top and as well as the bottom. Also on the nose it has a sticker reside that seems well attached but isn't on the riding surface.
I believe it is an ultra prime but it only says 2000 Burton on the top sheet and hand written under that it says "UP 62"
19.7 Waist
24.2 Tip/Tail
asking 130$ shipped but open to reasonable offers
I can send detail pics to interested people.
im just trying to clean out my unused quiver and focus on my skwal.

Just wanted to bump this up now that the winter season is upon us. It really is a fun board, I just don't ride it near enough(only once the last two seasons).
GONE***

****GONE****
I have one used Coiler 184 that I need to send off to a new home. I have been bitten by the skwal bug and neglect my boards so it is time to let one go.
The board has some fine scratches down the base as well as two larger ones, the worst is pictured.
The topside is pretty good. It has toe bail marks from a goofy foot rider by the rear foot. Binding marks under each binding. as well as a few very minor nicks in other places.
I am trying to tell you about as many issues as possible so that you will NOT be disappointed, not to scare you off, it is a good board.
6.8 stiffness 18.6cm waist 24cm nose/tail 184cm length
I am ~185lbs before gearing up. This is a fun and forgiving board. If I was not into the skwal so much I would keep it but it needs a new home where it will be used.
I can send additional detail pics to anybody that is interested.
I am asking $275 shipped and am not interested in shipping outside the US. Open to REASONABLE offers.
The Madd 170 and the Catek OS2 bindings in the background are not currently for sale.

Wondering if others noticed that they are stronger (more comfortable) with a preferred direction of carve. Seems a right leaning carve is okay for me, having trouble feeling comfortable leaning into left sided carve.
I used to have that problem a lot... Now it's an occasional problem and my heel side is the strong one when it happens.

I think I need to buy another skwal so that things like this don't take me out of commission. :|
Has anybody here ridden one of the Donek Skwals? I am sure they are great since he makes such great boards. Just wondering as compared to a Lacroix Skwal or similar.
-
I'm having withdrawals... I ripped threads out of the inserts under my front binding. Carving on a board isn't the same... I feel like I am riding a mac truck down the hill instead of a ferrari :(
I hope I get it back from the shop soon.

+1. Never been hit.
-1 for you since you have no experience in the matter

center to center... and i don't touch, i have about 3+ inches to spare between

14.75 inch stance width... now a bit about me so you have an idea of body size vs stance.

Friday was really nice IF you were brave enough It was an evil kind of fast and icy... very fun and easy edge hold, but fast. I took the skwal out for the day and had an unmeasurable amount of fun... Gotta love it
1.43 Max
1.31 Sustained
The high speed and turns pulling it tight helped my #'s on the skwal which is harder to get high G's on.

Riding tips: practice, practice, practice!
It feels really odd at first, but once you get hooked you won't want to go back!
I 2nd that, it's crazy weird at first but once you get it there is no undoing it. The carving boards are just a gateway drug to THIS!!!
I won't be giving up my board quiver any time soon, but it will NOT be growing either, skwal maddness has gotten to my brain.
-
Still out of commission from my spill... I'll update later...
-
While we are at it I want a skwal forum too
-
entertaining the idea of mounting skiboard bindings on regular parabolic ski and / or snowboard - how crazy is that?
VERY... I seriously doubt that those options would be stiff enough.
My skwal eats the crud and lumpy runs for a late afternoon snack... It also tears the groom up too.
BTS?!? I didn't like it on my boots, but that was on my boards, not the skwal... so I don't know.

I'd just ask and see if we can steer you in the wrong direction eerrrrrrr, I mean, right direction.
-
There are a few of us with a few screws loose, a few cards short of a full deck.... oh wait, that wasn't the question.
Yeah, there are some skwal riders here
-
It always happens on the "last run", doesn't it!
Nope, I took 2 more before deciding I should call it a day!

4.41 !
oh mannnnnn Why didn't I think about that when we were doing G-meter competitions @ SES !
you should get the belt for the most Gs !
Trikerdad says that I cheated and it wouldn't count.

i fear i may have to watch it later online... i cant find it
-
Any for all the head trauma worriers... I am keeping an eye on things and will not be stupid about it.
-
You do know, don't you, that you should not use that helmet again?
Yeah, the helmet is retired
-
I'm pretty sure there actually would've been less damage without the helmet
yeah, less damage to the helmet... more to my skull
-
I dont know about skiing as cross training but the skwal is AWESOME cross training for the boards. My boarding after riding the skwal always seems to get a little bit better and more agressive.
