The brackets (aluminum parts in the photo with holes in a triangular pattern) can be drilled to accommodate boards with inserts. Had actually planned to mount them on a metal board built with two inserts in a linear pattern for each bracket.

This is the 2006-7 season design. For boards with inserts another hole needs to be drilled in each bracket. Otherwise, brackets can be screwed directly to the board.
