I am sure you will have questions; I will do my best to answer. But I do not want to explain why I feel it is better, I will explain how things work. I love all alpine boards and I always have we need to move the sport along that is what I want to do, help make it more available, and this is my answer. And it rides awesome. Powder skis are coming and wow, I never liked powder till now.
The picture with a black snowboard on the right is an older board 1998 - 2014 same thing really. The bottom picture we have me dreaming of a powder set up 22 cm wide with the ONESKI Magnesium Plate. Can't wait to test this one soon, it of course can be ridden either way, soft or hard boots.
www.oneski.com it is an old site, but it is being changed soon so please ignore most of the site lol sorry. I have been testing this thing for three years now this will be the fourth year and it will be available.
The newest thing here is the Asymmetrical sliders on the derby effect. The red parts on top represent sliders and the black represents the lock.
The mounting to the actual ski is also a derby and it can be slid and locked as you wish by simply changing the locks around hard to explain but works great.
We always said something is asymmetrical about snowboarding, I think I found it. it is essentially the flex/position. again hard to explain unless everyone understands the slide and lock how the ski would travel along the plate differently, I am sure you do but to explain it with keyboard wow... I need to work on that one.
You can set up slide and lock however you like I have it the way I tested it and liked it, it does seam backwards but sometimes it is what it is.
One last thing for anyone who thinks skiers RACERS ski on two skis it is not true, also they are twice the strength and size of must of us alpine snowboards they are like Mike Jacoby size 250 lbs. every one of them huge and strong as hell. Trust me the ski is strong look at the center thickness of a race ski plus top and bottom full sheets of titanium. It does look like they ski on two but 90% of their weight is on outside ski. Thank you for reading this page.
