bumpyride
We're leaving tomorrow, and the first day boarding will be Saturday. Not sure which Mt yet. We'll be there for 8 boarding days, and be on channel 7 27 on the Motorolas. Be two of us on powder boards, and on all Mt. carvers, and one very good skier, all conditons. Hopefully we won't be spending any time on the groomers. Let me know if you'll be up, and we'll try and hook up, and we'll have internet access, and be staying in Sandy. eddie
Ridge top winds will blow from the northwest at 15-25 mph with ridge top temperatures rising to around 20 degrees. Down at 8,000’, the temperatures should rise to near 30. We have mountaintop clouds and light snow showers this morning, but they should burn off later in the day. Temperatures should continue to warm over the next several days and be near freezing on the ridge tops this weekend. For the extended forecast, this weekend will be very warm with high clouds and strong southerly winds, which should finish off all our nice snow. Then, we have a potentially significant storm for Tuesday and Wednesday with strong southwest winds, warm temprature and snow. Not looking well for the weekend. Avalanche potential is pretty sizable at the highest ridges and peaks today and tomorrow but will mellow out soon. The snow will be... well... ridable until the next storm. The UAC forecasts are the most accurate to rely on so lets keep our fingers crossed for snow.
bumpyride
We'll figure out something. Any recommendations? Especially for the conditons. Thanks Fischer
