Stratton/Okemo snow conditions

A retired guy I know was there on Friday and actuallly passed on Sunapee to ski a bigger mountain with friends from out of town. He regretted his choice and described hard thin conditions. That being said, they have also probably received 5+ inches of new snow and if on the same snowmaking schedule as Sunapee are blowing 2 or 3 nights a week and easily adding to base depths. So I am sure the conditions have improved. Okemo as Sunapee has turned into a "Get There for the First Chair" Mountain due to weekend crowds, mid-week is always much less crowded.
