Yes, chemo kills off your body by design. However, you can't conclude that this is what made him win. He made many other changes while keeping many things the same. He was born to ride a bike. He was born to ride a bike. opps I forgot about that one...I was in boot camp at the time. I'm not saying that chemo made him win (that would be silly) I'm saying that he trained his legs while undergoing treatment, the result was that he didn't lose muscle mass. His upper body lost a great deal mass that has not returned.
