Guest jager
I have to say the first person I saw carving was Kildy at Waterville Valley back when I still skied. LOL! I was going up the lift with my older brother so I must have been maybe twelve. So, seventeen years ago. Ayiyi! Anyway, I saw a snowboarder come over a rise and I told my brother, "Look, that guy's drawing!" Because it literally was so deep a rut that it looked like these big arcing lines in the trail. The second guy I saw was Bill Enos as he was right behind Kildy. LOL! That is still what I look for when I ride a lift and look at my own carves. Are they as beautiful as theirs were that day? Don't tell my brother but seeing that was what made me want to ride! LOL!
