bjvircks
I'm going to be in Park City Dec 10-17 and I'm looking to arrange some riding. I'm with 3 others :D but I'll be the only carver (or at least 'wannabe' carver). Of the 4 of us only my girlfriend:cool: & I:cool: ride. I'm also hoping to get my gal to try hardbooting while she's there (she's going back home early, so her only opportunity will be Dec 11 Sun, 12 Mon) Brad Vircks bjvircks@earthlink.net I'm going to post at Hardbooter.com
philfell
We'll be in town then, get in touch with Billy or Dave at hardbooter and they can get your gal pal on gear and also let you know when they are riding and you can hook up that way. AndyYT316
You can always find me at The Canyons in Park City. I'll probably be teaching a girl to ride on the 10th, but I can always accidentally lose her somewhere on the mountain to ride with you guys. It's my home mountain, so if there's enough snow I could show you some fun places. Oh yeah, I can ride hard or soft boots, depending on where I'm riding that day. Where are you guys staying at while in Utah?
bjvircks
We are staying at the Sweetwater across from the Park City base area. The 10th we are settling in (travel day) and so probably won't ride.
AndyYT316
I just work Mon-Thurs, so I'll be riding on friday's and saturdays.
bjvircks
unless you happen to be hardboot instructor. Where do I sign up for that job??? Maybe we'll see you Friday! When I find out what my Park City phone # is I'll post. What are conditions like so far?
tilledog
Just give us a ring. 801-953-5115. We'll hook up the gear and some ride time. The conditions are boney right now but it's quickly filling in as of this weekend. A couple of weeks will do wonders for the base as we have snow in the forcast for the next week or so. philfell
Dave don't give false snow reports, we all know that you've been playing Mr. MOM and have only been out for an hour or so. I think I'm up to around forty or so days since PC closed last season. Have fun diper cleaning while we're out railing sucka...... Sorry about the rant. Coverage is good right now, terrain is limited. More is scheduled to open in the next day or so. It'll be fine by the time you get here. bjvircks
after reading about plowing into good sized rocks and tree stumps because of thin base ( stupid groomers thread ) I'm kind of concerned about early season. Sounds like 'not to worry... snow's a comin'
tilledog
Ok ok. Twas a week o' snow forcasted as of this past weekend. http://www.ksl.com/index.php?nid=88 I stand by my forcast but yeee haa on the MOM. I've got a grand total of 4 runs since last season. I'm a bit disturbed that Billy in a bra is your avatar.... I thought he was my 8itch!!
philfell
I made it kinda blurry so you couldn't really tell it is Bordy......I have plenty more black mail as well.

tilledog
No can do, Fin. Looks like The bird's got a nice base started, from what the website states. Sunday at PC? You're here the whole weekend, eh? Hope you had a safe drive. Billy, you in? Davo
Bordy
Fin, Training on Fri and Sat. Tell Kev I said hello. I can do PC for sure on SUN!
fin
Yo Guys, Missed out big! Great day with Kevin and Terese! Powder was good and mostly deep, hit a few rocks, but all good. Have a demo at Alta tomarrow but they are not too board freindly. Rumor has it you can show up with an alpine set-up and put poles in your hand and no one will hassle you
tilledog
How about Sunday at PC? We have some crappy demo bindings you can try out if you'd like. Beamers? Bumbers? Something like that. I'll have to go dumpster diving to get them. We think they're recycleable but they might be just the thing for a beginner... Dave
bjvircks
Time's getting short ! Looking forward to getting to know the hardbooters of Park City. Hooking up with an 'innie' like Fuegocarve would be cool but if Philfell shows up in a thong... I'm outa there. Looks like conditions at PC DV Canyons are getting better. Comments?? AndyYT316
Went to the Canyons yesterday, nice hard pack and mostly good cover on the mountain. It's dumping snow right now, so I don't want to even drive up the canyon today, but I think I'll be taking the fish up with me tomorrow just in case! Oh yeah, the mountain wasn't crowded at all, no wait in lift lines and nice open trails with hardly anyone to be around you.
