www.oldsnowboards.com
Hey: I got a brand new Hot Logical 165 with a 2001/2002 flamed top sheet. It was black and blue, a 1995/96???. I got it from Terry English, cheap, and we ride asyms now and again. I ride with 65 deg on both feet. Seems fine to me. But what do I know, I'm old!!! Oh god!! Now I see the problem, her feet point in the wrong direction!!! Tim, you did a beautiful job on that topsheet! Looks very cool!!
Mike T
Actually, this is my current favorite t-shirt, I gotta get me one o' these. Colicky offspring? Been there. My daughter is and will always be an only child! I didn't get much riding in that season (02-03) due more ti loss of sleep than anything else. skipuppy
I am always open to tips and pointers. I will get a more "modern" board eventually but not this season. For now I am just going to have fun. PS- can't make it to Okemo for those days because I've got finals on the 21st and 22nd. Will be there a day late though
philfell
actually, that stance is right in line with the board...when we raced on asyms back in the early 90's, pigeon toed stances were pretty common...i used to ride 60* rear, 55* front...so your stance is as retro as your board! Rock on, skipuppy By the time the 3D and 4x4 inserts came about most racers I know of went away from practice of riding with steeper back foot angles. And when people did ride this way they usually only had 3 degrees differance, skipuppys board looks to be set-up with way more differance than this. I'm not trying to be a jerk, I just see a set-up problem that should be addressed before bad habits start to develop. It's a free fix. skipuppy
Thanks. I had it originally set by the guys at Starting Gate and they got everything wrong including reversing the cant. I broke my leg my first season having the board (on skis) and then two or three days before the end of last season I finally got the cant figured out. This season will be for figuring out the degrees. I'm thinking of going more mellow and maybe moving the back foot parallel to the front. We shall see what happens. I will definitely decrease the difference between the two though. Thanks!! PS- my name is Tonja
tilledog
Phil, Is your avatar a pic of Billy? And Jack, You drink 'cause you love tequilla, if I remember correctly. http://www.bomberonline.com/VBulletin/showthread.php?t=6545&highlight=tequilla I'm pretty sure you have other reasons though, now, as do I. Ahhhhh, the crier's club. Davo
Jack M
Heh, you got me there Dave. Actually our 2nd baby has been a piece o' cake. The first one had major digestive issues, but is fine now. That t-shirt just cracks me up. http://home.maine.rr.com/jjtd/uploaded_images/bro_n_sis1-703388.jpg oh, to follow up on that Tequila thread, I've decided that Herradura Reposado is probably the best value for making margaritas. Nice flavor, decent smoothness, reasonable price. Better than Cuervo Tradicional for the same cost.
philfell
Tonja, the coach at Stratton Mt. School, Mike Mallon is really nice and very knowlegable. If you ever have any questions I'd track him down since you're close.
