jtslalom
In the 2005 November issue, page 274 has a picture of a rider standing on top of a mountain in Korea. In the back ground you can clearly see the body and left foot of some one riding plates. I can't tell what board or binding it is but the boots are orange color, don't know what brand though. Allee
Bright orange hard boots would make them last season's Indy's, I think. They're hard to miss on a mountain.
skipuppy
They could also be Head stratos (I've got those). They liner is bright orange and part of the shell is orange. The rest is a see through brown type of color.
D-Sub
stratos pro was orange at one point, too... absolutely hilarious how excited you are about a boot/binding sighting!
Gecko
stratos pro was orange at one point, too...absolutely hilarious how excited you are about a boot/binding sighting! There was also a Japanese boot that was orange year before last...given that the Japanese boots were manufactured in Korea I would bet on those
D-Sub
damn ethnocentric americans thinking the only orange boots are one theyre familiar with (me. sarcasm) how dare we ;)
Steve Dold
I read a TWS mag in a dentist's office over the summer and it seemed to be more of a fashion or style magazine, it didn't seem to have a lot to do with actually snowboarding. It had a lot of stuff about famous snowboarders, but the articles didn't have much to do with technique or gear, it was more about what music they like or who they think is hot. Who reads this crap? skatha
You guys aren't being fair--in addition to tons of ads for clothing and lists of what's cool, you have pubescent kids detailing their alleged first sexual experiences-it's a cultural icon-TWS
Steve Dold
There are articles in TWS? Maybe they were just really long captions :)
Ginsu
Anyone know a publisher? Let's put together a 6 issue magazine? Call it Carve, Carving, On Edge, The Edge, Toe/Heel, Skid, or some such name? Maybe start with an online Magazine then branch out to the world in paper? Anyone think that's a good idea? skatha
I'd love it but the girlie snowboard online mag went down the pipes...... And we're a more specialized market.....
