I agree the carbon X-Bones look really cool, and they are great for freecarving or powder duty. They are not a stiff binding by any means, my wife bought the Naganos (Raichle sold the X-Bones with them as a set) and demanded her Cateks back after 3 runs on the X-Bones.

I ride my X-Bones a lot of the time (non-carbon). I weigh 185lbs and they are fine for me for my freecarve boards. I ride Catek on my race boards.

Agreed, I really like mine.

I actually broke a board with my carbon fiber X-bones (wight 200 at the time)....so much for the theory that the bindings are plastic junk.

They work really well for quick board changes with friends too as you rotate the binding via one hex key and change the length via a philips head.
