Scotty Pumpkins
While we're on the topic, i'll be in Okemo for new years. Are there any shops in that area that deal in hard boots? thanks Scott
GeoffV
Starting Gate and Out of Bounds are the only shops in New England that I am aware of that carry any type of carving equipment, (Out of Bounds doesn't carry hard boots). They are carrying the Deeluxe and Head hardboots. There was a theard that had a link to the site a while back. Your best bet is Bomber or the classifieds on bomber. ChR1s
Color me underwhelmed after a recent experience there. Perhaps I was expecting too much, but it'd be nice if the persons fitting & selling were a bit more knowledgeable about the product than the customer. Not a bad experience, just not overly satisfying. They got the job done.

Guest cmc
chr1s, Do you know who fit your boots when you went to the Startingate? Also, how busy was it during your visit? If it was during the xmas holiday period, that would have been a very busy time. Email the Gate at info@startingate.net and let us know. Let us know who fit the boot or who worked with you. Guest jeremiah
I haven't bought anything from Alpine Trader yet, but I was very happy to see them stocking hardboots and carving boards. They did a nice job on my board tune, and the owner is a carver. (He looked like he was about to drool on my board, which I think is a good thing.) willywhit
I rode with Tom from the Trader last week at Mt Snow. He said that his boss has a badass Malibu waterski boat so I'll bet he's crosstraing on the snow. Tom had a sweet Coiler, too. Anyone know of Tom's email other than info@alpinetrader.com? He's got some boots I'm hoping to buy.
