Guest 747carver
I have been offered to purchase a Nitro GT 66, I think this model is approx 3-4 years old. Does anyone have any info about this board , is it a freecarve or raceboard ,easy or difficult to ride?
Derf
I have a 2000 Nitro GTX 166, and from what I know, is almost the same thing. GT is probably 1999 or before. See my comment on http://www.bomberonline.com/VBulletin/showthread.php?s=&threadid=398 For the years: 2002 & 2003: GTO (same geometry as GTR) 2000 & 2001: GTX & GTR 1999 and before: GT (same geometry as GTX) Derf
Guest AustrianCarver
Hi, I have a couple of Nitro's (from 160 to 168) and I am quite happy with all of them. My wife is using last years Nitro GTX 163. I also got an Elan Ballistic which is more a race board then the Nitro but both have very good edge hold. Actually the Nitro and the Elan board are produced in the same factory in Austria.
Maciek
Good boards. I rode (and actualy raced) on one GTX 172 some time ago. The only issue was that some of them could snap. They kept camber. Mine although not worth much as base and edges are thin still has some camber. The design though could eliminate that stylish pointy tip that only adds overal lenght to board specs while does not have anything to do with effective edge or running lenght.
