TWM
I’m trying to decipher this sidewall spec and would very much appreciate insights from those familiar with Coiler. “WCC” - ? “178FC-22” - I presume 178cm long Freecarve model and 22cm waist? “0156-7.5” - 156cm effective edge? And some sort of stiffness rating of 7.5?
ShortcutToMoncton
Just send Bruce a note, his spec lines have changed a bit over the years. Is that an older board? I think I spy a titanal layer near the top but hard to tell.

BlueB
My guess: World Cup Construction, 178 Free Carve, 22 wide, board No 0156 (or 56th board in 2001?), Flex 7.5 Edited April 6, 2023 by BlueB
TWM
Thanks guys. I will email Bruce, but this is quite helpful decoding. It’s a new-to-me board that I acquired on trade, and, despite its age, it’s a beautiful, quiet, damp, stable and hard-carving board. A pleasant surprise to be sure. ShortcutToMoncton
2001 should definitely be pre-metal. I had one of his 180-something World Cup Construction boards for a couple years around 03/04 or so and it was really a great board. I remember the later titanal boards being more damp & smooth though. Great find!
