Keenan
It's not really a loss of revenue to them since Timberline bought Ski Bowl and has since opened up Mtn. Bike trails. https://www.timberlinelodge.com/mountain/bike-park#trail_map. Kind of lame in my opinion to sue over hitting a trail marker. Next, someone will sue the Forestry Service for running into a tree.
st_lupo
While the sum sounds excessive, it isn’t clear that it is unwarranted. Bike parks require planning, maintenance, etc so who knows? Going to Mt. Hood’s website says the mtb operations are “suspended” not “banned”, which I interpret as meaning you can still bike in the area, just not on the bikepark trails and no uplift. So, you know, regular mountain biking is still ok?
