So show us the videos!!!

I think they are confusing me with another famous YT person.

I really hope they aren't. I am excessively prone to east-coast style temper tantrums. Bad PR for any youtube personality they are confusing me with.

I mean. I do zero flatland tricks and I'm asian. It should be obvious....

And my tanker is not 30cm wide.

Maybe it wasn’t snowboarding videos the were talking about…

I was out with a skier friend of mine last week and near the end of our day, a group of 4 youth ski racers started peppering me with questions about my setup in the lift line. And then my friend says, "I was worried we were going to make it through the entire day without someone asking you about your board." 😂

Update: Jokes on me. Wrong topic! Sorry folks.

Today some kid about 12-13 on a board asked me “what is that?” so I told him ”it’s a snowboard for old people”

I think I might start using this one - so good.

How about: "This is what snowboards look like when they grow up."

Last Monday at Sundance a Lift Operator was admiring my custom graphics on my Coiler and said..."and you have ski boots too." I told her they were actually snowboard boots and that's when the confused head tilt happened...

Pics of your custom graphic?  I'm looking for ideas...

After years of lurking in these threads it has finally happened to me: "What's that?" "My snowboard." "No."

To be sure, he was not a native Alps dweller (they usually have some idea of what that is), but an Israeli tourist. Still, a first for me.

Yah, I've been through the threads from the different years.  Was curious about yours.

Not the lift line, at my office:
Me: "The groomers were excellent on Saturday".
Him: "Oh, I don't like the groomers. So you are just cruising".
Me: "Not quite".
I am still limping from Saturday. Someone take this lactic acid from me...

Not lactic acid this long after the event. Instead you have thousands of microscopic muscle fibre tears and an inflammatory response as they heal, and strengthen, your muscles. If you can tolerate any of ibuprofen, diclofenac, or even a -coxib antiinflammatory then this will reduce the muscle tenderness. Safe to use after exercise once you have rehydrated. Using before exercise runs a significant risk of kidney damage.

Lactic acid is produced during anaerobic exercise, and it is dealt with as the oxygen debt is repaid. As an anesthesiologist, human physiology is part of my expertise.
