Turns out he joined the racing ski club and has no time for hard booting.... They were well used by the previous owner (did some research but couldn't find who...). They won't fit me, but my Alpine Snowboard Race Team keeps gear for those just moving into hard boots around for them to try and boots are the hardest because they are more exact in how they need to fit.
